The food is excellent, the service is top-notch, and the views are fantastic. The outdoor seating area permits smoking, which is a nice feature. The staff is exceptionally friendly.

Very fun bar/restaurant ???? the food isn't great but the atmosphere and the people are what make it fun! There's live music a place for the kids to play. Games for adults, a little ice-cream stand in the front and it's right on a beautiful lake. There really isn't much more you can ask for!

We are often happy to go here. Good bar food / appetizers. sitting outside with live music on the water, relaxing and meeting new people. Good selection of beer on Hahn. Several whisky varieties. This place is so brilliant that we had lunch and dinner there on the first day of the visit to the area. My wife eats super clean and she LOVED the grilled chicken and fish dishes. Hanging out at the bar at the port is a great time. We enjoyed the live band at night. Met tons of really nice people. Service is great.

This restaurant has had several owners over the years, but the current owner and staff are top-notch. The food is delicious, the service is friendly, and the restaurant's redesign is impressive. There are both indoor and outdoor seating options, with everyone enjoying a view of the Great Lake. Well done and highly recommend!

Happen to be there when a band called General's Army was playing and totally enjoyed the music.. Sat out on deck and enjoyed great food and everyone on the staff was attentive and friendly..!! No wait time.. And this was a night that a high school reunion was going on.. Had no complaints whatsoever.. Keep up the good work guys.. We will definitely be returning and highly recommend.. Excellent lakeside location, delicious food and speedy service only at Vernon's! We were so lucky to have AJ as our server, she was so kind and courteous. Her food recommendations were fantastic we had the shrimp skewers, chicken pot pie and the pecan pie with Texas praline icecream. Vernon's is a complete party place with outdoor seating, entertainment stage, kids play place and an outdoor bar too! There is a separate menu for kids and AJ gave our kids crayons and coloring pages too. We highly recommend this place to all locals and visitors!

I know I already rated this place but here I am giving another rating. The restaurant is pretty big it is also a bit warm but the food is so good. Depending on how busy they are is how long your food will take. The bar seems to be the place for singles to hand out and they have karaoke out doors on the patio, honestly I could do without the music but others may like it. If you do not like loud than I wouldn't go but you will miss out on good food. Their pot pies are so good but my favorite is the chicken fried steak. The rolls taste like trash just FYI.

Ok so I was quite torn on this find. Its an epicly placed, lakeside restruant and bar. The menu is actually really good and fairly priced. The food oit of the kitchen was GREAT. Its well portioned in size and the quality of what we ordered was impressive. We were all very happy with our meals. The view cant be beat and the general theme is really fun, especially for the lake. Our contention for the place was only 2 things: 1) The service, at least our service this time, was sluggish, slow and unrefined. Perhaps it was isolated, we will come back abd try again. 2) the place is in need of a bit more maintence. It needs a new coat of paint. Yank some cobwebs down. Clean the inside up a bit. Pre...
