"I’ve been living here for more than a decade, and this is my first visit to this restaurant. I can’t believe I’ve been missing out! The hushpuppies are fantastic, the catfish is delicious, and the coleslaw is absolutely excellent! The homemade sauces are also quite tasty. If I had one complaint, it would be that the service was a bit slow, and there was a long wait between courses. We also had to search for our waitress to get our bill, and our tea was left empty for a while. Despite that, I will definitely return because the food was just so good!"

First time here and it didn't disappoint! Fried Catfish, shrimp, baked potatoe and hush puppies were amazing!! Drinks come in a large pitcher with free refills. Service staff were very friendly.

The best whole catfish in Kaufman County! Marilyn is an exceptional server, and all the staff are friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere feels more like a family gathering. It gets quite busy on Fridays and Saturdays, so be sure to arrive early since they close at 8 PM.

First time back in 3 years and. Not much better. Hush puppies were good. Fried squash was in fryer to long. Fish was alright, except for the middle of each piece was watery and undercooked for my liking. The price was less than $21 per person. But was only worth $15 tops.
