"I recently came here for a private event, not just as a diner. Service wise everyone's attitudes were great, and everyone was very helpful when needed. I can applaud the servers for handling a large, loud group of people with such ease. The food however, was both a hit and miss for me. We had a salad that was honestly delicious, the pita chip appetizer that was equally if not more delicious, and some good drinks (shout out to the passion fruit lemonade with coconut cold foam!! . I did not try the Pizza but I was told it was mediocre, and the entrees.... Were absolutely lacking. I had pasta primavera and my husband had salmon. We both needed salt, pepper, and couldn't eat some of the vegetable pieces due to them being the inedible parts. He also had a few fish bones, so that was a nuisance. the lattes are good, we had many: vanilla and hazelnut iced lattes, pistachio latte (yum! , honey oat milk latte (not bad at all , a Greek style latte (needed milk , and many more. Overall those were good. Another minor issue we had was the tables just weren't being cleared out it felt like we had tons of glass around all the time. Overall, I think the place just needs to tidy up a little. If they fixed their seasoning for the entrees, this place would've easily been 5 stars. The decorations and size of the place are fantastic, just these few things should really be looked at. tldr Pros: non alcoholic drinks (latte, coffee, lemonades, etc great event space for up to 100 people appetizers dips salad are amazing Con: entree was completely dull tables should've been cleared more frequently experience was during a large event, so my review is likely slightly skewed"

"The customer service at this restaurant is exceptional! The beef ribs were quite fatty but still tender. The BBQ sauce was a bit thin, though it had a good flavor that complemented the ribs nicely. The macaroni and cheese was a bit too creamy for my taste, not because of the variety of delicious cheeses used, but rather something else that didn't quite work. It was just okay. The greens were decent, but they didn't fill the overly small large soup cup unless it was just the juice, which isn’t very appealing given the price. The potato salad was good. The salmon had good seasoning and was tender, but the portion was a bit lacking at only 5 ounces. The grape lemonade was an interesting twist and quite enjoyable, whereas the strawberry lemonade didn't impress me. The cornbread wasn't great—it turned out to be excessively gooey and cakey, but the flavor was decent. Their dinner rolls were enjoyable, though. The peach cobbler was just okay and definitely not impressive. If you're looking for fantastic cobbler, I recommend going to Creole Soul at the R House instead. Overall, this is a solid option for the area. I’d suggest choosing Southern Blues over fast food; it’s only about $5-6 more, which is worth it to eat healthier, and you might even have a little left for a snack later. It’s definitely a better choice than Bertha’s, which is just a short 10-minute drive away."

"My recent visit to Bernaby's Cafe left me pleasantly surprised with its generous portions and satisfying flavors. I opted for a salad, while my husband indulged in a big cheeseburger, and we both left with contented appetites and even some leftovers for the next day.First and foremost, let's talk about the salad. The portion size was indeed impressive, offering excellent value for the price. The freshness of the ingredients was evident, with crisp lettuce, vibrant vegetables, and a delightful medley of flavors. The combination of different textures and the thoughtful arrangement of toppings made the salad both visually appealing and enjoyable to eat. The dressing provided a perfect balance, enhancing the overall taste without overpowering the natural flavors of the ingredients. I appreciated the fact that the salad was substantial enough to leave me satisfied without feeling overly stuffed. On the other hand, my husband's choice, the big cheeseburger, was a hearty and indulgent treat. The burger patty was juicy and cooked to perfection, nestled between two soft and toasted buns. The addition of melted cheese, fresh vegetables, and a tangy sauce elevated the classic burger experience. The portion size lived up to its name, ensuring that my husband's hunger was adequately satiated. It's worth noting that the accompanying side dish, whether it was fries or another option, perfectly complemented the burger and added to the overall enjoyment of the meal. One aspect worth mentioning is the friendly and attentive service we received at Bernaby's Cafe. The staff members were courteous and prompt in taking our orders and ensuring that we had everything we needed throughout our meal. It added to the overall positive dining experience and made us feel welcomed and valued as customers."
