Good breakfast. Comfortable place with a small seating area. Good fresh squeezed OJ. The biscuits were really good.

Still one of my favorite restaurants that I’ve been visiting since its birth. Love breakfast time here and the quaintness of the restaurant.

Excellent service from John. You sign in at the paper sheet inside the front door. Seating outside until you are called. Coffee is served in small carafes at your table. Old school vibe, friendly service and delicious food. View menu

Shared a turkey sandwich with the $1 upgrade to sweet potato fries. Very good. Next time I will request extra cranberry mayo on the side. Added Swiss cheese. They split our plate for us without an upcharge. Great place to cool off after the museums.

Very casual, low stakes environment with a nice staff. I stopped by after a run. I saw the special was the chicken and waffles (with WINGS and not tenders) which was cooked beautifully but a touch salty. Menu is straightforward so if you need a lot of razzle and dazzle, look elsewhere

On a rainy day, my appointment at the doctor's office was early. Hungry for the mandatory fast before blood labs. I found this place for breakfast in the Montrose area or (The gayborhood) and you must try it. The place can serve 35 people at a time with yummy food and amazing staff. For early birds who like cozy restaurants with breakfast and the LGBTQ+ vibe. And start the day with everything you need. View menu

After having kids, I started appreciating family friendly restaurants like this place more and more. Barnaby's is a great place for lunch after a family visit at the nearby zoo or museum they provide coloring books for the kiddos, offer a kid's menu, and the food is good. I usually gravitate towards the cheeseburger because you really can't go wrong with it. The meat is hefty and is cooked how you like it. I always order medium rare and it comes out right each time. It's not fancy nor ranked as my top five, but it's a good quality burger. The fries that it comes with are great and come in an abundance. You can't go wrong with their sweet potato option either! Having a kid menu is nice, thoug...

My son loved the burger here when he came a while ago so I decided to give it a try! The place is very chill and the food smelled real good!! We ordered the baby back ribs and my son ordered the guacamole burger, I also asked for an appetizer which was spinach and artichoke dip with chips! And I did order carrot cake to go because I knew I was going to be pretty full!! The ribs were falling from the bone but!! Yes a but.. the ribs were a bit dry and had to chew many times!! The plates are pretty huge so had leftovers!! The fries are fresh and they give you tons of them!! I just wished the ribs were moist! My son did have a small issue with the seasoning on bread, too much!! Salty and too muc...

"Food good. Location good. Service good. BUT, the hidden charges REALLY ruined an otherwise nice experience. Example: HH menu lists Martinis as a $3 upcharge to the $7 base charge. Fair enough. Bombay is a listed alcohol; requested. When the bill was returned I was charged for a Bombay Sapphire which is not on the HH list. Charge? $11 $3. I asked for Bombay, not Bombay Sapphire. Waiter: Oh, let me look into that. AND, by the way Blue Cheese olives? Extra $1. REALLY? I 've NEVER paid extra for BC olives ANYWHERE. AND the confusing menus that a dish as including an extra sauce, [and I don 't recall the exact language but it made it seem that an additional items could be selected as well. Oops, there goes an extra $10.95. AND, the waiter recommending a twice-baked potato. Bah, boom, another $5.95. [which in fairness is disclosed on the menu in a different location, but waiter made it sound as if it was a no-charge option on the surf and turf. AND the split plate charge which I don 't think was disclosed on the menu. Ding, ding, extra $3.00. Was this a waiter, who was overly up-selling or restaurant deception? Don 't know. As I said, the food WAS good. AND, the ambience [at least in the bar area, stay away of the hotel-ballroom-like main dining area was nice. Just beware the nickel and dime charges that the waiter won 't be disclosing to you."
