Fresh and crisp greens mixed with seasonal vegetables, topped with a light vinaigrette for a refreshing and healthy choice.

"Stopped by today after 4pm to take advantage of the Sunday/Monday deals for dinner (prix fixe executive menu). However, I was told that they were only serving from the happy hour and regular menus. Deeply saddened but still full of curiosity, I tried the 6oz filet mignon (which is the same price as the three course prix fixe meal I was hoping for, of which steak is an entree option). I also had a Lilac cocktail, which was rather delicious and elegant. The filet mignon came piping hot and cooked perfectly. The accompanying chimichurri sauce was delectable and not overpowering. Overall, great steak and drinks, but clarity on prix fixe menu availability would be helpful. Update on 3/10/18... went back to Jack’s yesterday for late night drinks and the crowd was great! The two bartenders (one was called Glenn Coco) were amazing, whipping up great drinks and serving them up with a smile and great conversation. We felt at home here, and will absolutely be coming back and spreading the word!"

"Took friends, new to the area, to introduce them to what used to be one our favorite stops in San Juan Capistrano. The place is so adorable and such a nice setting, but our food this evening was way below the standard normally experienced at Sun Dried Tomato. We ordered the Special which one would assume all chefs had been fully vetted and trained on the procedure. We had the Grilled Halibut I put that in quotes because it was anything BUT!! First of all it was griddled not grilled as the menu declared, we saw a totally seared and tough exterior only to be outdone by the way over cooked fish. It was tough, flavorless and and a huge embarrassment for us as we introduced a new California resident to your restaurant. While our very nice and accommodating server did try to have them cook up a new piece of fish for us, it came out seared again to toughness but completely raw on the inside rendering it uneatable. If I were the GM at this restaurant, I would dismiss that cook immediately. Our server did the right thing and removed it from the bill, we had 2 servings, and we tipped him as if the bill was full, it remains one of the worst experiences I have ever had. Just to note, every time we have been to this restaurant, we have had the best meals, might be a while before we give another go."

"The service and restaurant ambiance are quite pleasant, and it wasn't too crowded at 7 PM, especially at the bar. The beer is served cold. However, the seafood fajitas were just okay; there wasn't much protein for the price, with more vegetables than shrimp, scallops, and calamari—only about three pieces of each. The dish lacked a strong flavor. I'll consider trying other entrees in the future, especially if management takes these reviews into account."

"Every time we're in Santa Fe, we get our coffee from Java Joe's. Their gluten-free coffee cake is amazingly good. This place is a must for a true local flavor of Santa Fe."

"Racist and discriminatory behavior by owner...My family went here recently for my father 's birthday. My mom called twice a few days prior trying to make a reservation for 20 people and asked if she could bring a cake. Both times the receptionist (who is family with the owner) said they don 't take reservations but could do a walk in and she could bring a cake. (Already poor restaurant management experience bc who in their right mind says a 20 top walk in is ok lol) anyway...on the day of my mom called 15 minutes before my family was set to arrive just to confirm for a third time that they were good to walk in as a 20 top and was transferred to the owner who said ABSOLUTELY NOT and that they better not come by the restaurant. Frantically my mom and family tried to figure out where to go for my dad 's birthday with 20 people waiting to figure out the new plan. After calling multiple restaurants who said they couldn 't take a large group last minute (obviously), they decided to try to go to this restaurant and just get multiple smaller tables at varying times in an effort to help out and not inundate the waitstaff and kitchen at the same time. Upon arrival the owner yelled at my mom and told her again ABSOLUTELY NOT and that he told her to stay away. He then said that it was impossible the receptionist during the week told her it was ok to walk in as a 20 top bc it is his family (lol). He then said in front of my entire family and in the most rude and degrading tone possible: IT IS BECAUSE OF YOUR ACCENT THEY DON 'T UNDERSTAND YOU. My mom is Brasilian and has lived in the US for 30 years and has nearly perfected her English during that time...she was embarrassed and felt incredibly disrespected by this little man. You would think after the restaurant having struggled through the pandemic there would be some sense of humility. But alas- true colors always shine through. Long story short: discriminatory, racist, rude, and overall poor restaurant management by the owner From one Italian (me) to another (this restaurant 's owner): VAFFANCULO"

"We dined at Sundried Tomato three years ago and had a pleasant experience. However, this visit was quite different. The restaurant was very crowded, resulting in a high noise level, which is manageable if you're expecting it. The service was acceptable, but the food was rather disappointing. The spring roll appetizers were overly crunchy and lacked flavor. While the lamb chops were enjoyable, the potatoes served alongside them were undercooked and not particularly flavorful. Overall, it was a mediocre dining experience."

"I recently dined at Black Angus Steakhouse, and I must say, the experience was exceptional. From the moment I walked in, the warm and inviting atmosphere set the stage for a fantastic meal. The highlight of the evening was, without a doubt, the steak. Perfectly cooked to my preferred level of doneness, it was incredibly tender and juicy. The rich, savory flavor of the meat was enhanced by a subtle seasoning that complemented rather than overpowered the natural taste. Each bite was a delight, making it clear that Black Angus Steakhouse takes great pride in their steak preparation. Accompanied by well-prepared sides and a selection of excellent wines, the meal was a true feast. The attentive service and cozy ambiance only added to the overall enjoyment. If you're looking for a place that serves an amazing steak, Black Angus Steakhouse is definitely worth a visit."

"I visited Sunrise with my family based on friends' recommendations, and we absolutely loved it! The restaurant is impeccably clean, spacious, and offers comfortable seating with a warm and cozy atmosphere. The food was fantastic—everything we ordered, from the farmhouse egg platter and breakfast burritos to the meat lover wrap, was delicious! I wanted to swap toast for sautéed spinach, and the staff was incredibly accommodating, helpful, and friendly. They checked in on us frequently, and the service was top-notch. The coffee was exceptional, and the beverage menu was extensive. We indulged in the stuffed French toast for dessert, even though we were already quite full, and it did not disappoint. The prices are reasonable, and the portion sizes are more than satisfying. Jim, the owner, and his wife have created a wonderful space that ticks all the boxes, and we are definitely planning to return next week. I can only be grateful that it's a bit of a drive for us; otherwise, my latte craving might become an addiction!"

"The Arrowhead (Glendale) Black Angus is the best I went to different places in the 30 plus years. The service is always excellent and the filets are so tender. The Teriyaki sauce is also a good supplement on the page. We always enjoy the friendly atmosphere of the Arrowhead location from the servers and managers that are always great. You have a good thing to go for them so if you are looking for a good quality steak, excellent appetizers, and friendly welcome service this is the place. I recommend to the Wagon Wheel that we get it almost every time. The chocolate wing cake is also great."

"I believe some other Black Angus locations may offer a superior experience, and I encourage you to do your research for the best outcome if you're looking for something truly worthwhile. That said, the attentive service and overall quality of the dishes here were very commendable and certainly worthy of a return visit. The prime rib was excellent, and the tips were also very good, as were the Au gratin potatoes, though they were a bit on the thick side. The green beans with bacon exceeded expectations, and the sautéed mushrooms with onions and tri tips, paired with a baked potato, were prepared and presented just as requested. Unfortunately, the dessert—peach cobbler—fell short of expectations. Regardless of being a chain, this particular location is one we keep returning to because they remain consistent and strive to please their customers. Looking forward to seeing you again, Angus! Enjoy your meal!"

"Asked for Buffalo wings and told the waitress specifically that I didn’t want any bleu cheese or ranch dipping sauce…just Buffalo wings. She brought me bleu cheese wings instead. I asked her about them and she said they were bleu cheese crumbles even though I asked for Buffalo! I asked for Buffalo sauce and was charged an extra .50 for a side of Buffalo sauce when I asked for Buffalo wings in the first place. Took waitress forever to even come greet us and take drink orders when we got there. There were no spoons and she never came bk to refill our water."

"Our server, Keris, gave good suggestions and was very efficient and accommodating with special requests. Our best choices in terms of taste and value were the Happy Hour tacos. My son loved the pulled pork and I enjoyed the pollo verde (only available during Happy Hour, not on the regular menu which begs the why??? question . The house made(? corn tortilla was so so but my son seemed happy with the flour tortillas that he requested for his tacos. I really liked the fresh slaw mixture that was on the toppings bar for the Happy Hour items. The queso was mediocre at best and I would not recommend ordering it. I ordered a two taco plate. My side choice of a salad was lovely with fresh, colorful mixed greens, a sprinkling of corn and black beans, some peppers and sliced avacado. I chose the buffalo chicken taco which was nicely spiced but WAY too acidic. The second taco on the plate was the shrimp taco, which was so so (no distinguishable flavor in the marinade/sauce . Based on our food, I would recommend Tacos and Tequila for Happy Hour but not so much for regular meal service."

"We were there on a Friday night. It was fairly busy but not packed. Our poor server was running half the restaurant on his own though and barely getting any help. I felt for him. He did an amazing job. They should really have the hostesses doing water refills during down time. They had two of them working and they didn’t bring water with them during seating either. It would really save the waiters a lot of effort. On to the food; my partner had the 16oz prime rib which was excellent. He said the herb crust was really flavorful. I had the beer battered fish and chips. It’s strangely difficult to find battered style around here. The portion size was good and the batter was well seasoned. Fries were fine. The tartar sauce was really bland though. We capped the evening with creme brûlée which were not as good. Too much sugar on top and torched way too long. Mine was black on over half the dessert and it was very thick. The creme component was average but pleasant. Overall it’s a basic “bar and grill” with decent prices and solid food. Our waiter was great and did his best to serve all the tables around him. I hope they can improve operations to better support their staff."

"My first visit to Medici's in normal. Although I'm not a stranger to the original Medici in Chicago. For years and years I have enjoyed the Medici atmosphere, groovy mood, artworks and wonderful food in the Hyde Park district of Chicago! Always excellent. The situation in normal is no less interesting. And I'll say I found the staff in normal to be much in the same attitude as in Chi-town. Really nice, covered and helpful. I ate here with my brother – we had a great brunch. The food is here in normal! Of course I'm going back."

"We were greatly disappointed with our meals and our service. Considering the fact that the meals were $60.00 per person, the meal certainly didn’t meet that level of excellence. Our main meal was brought to our table. We wondered what happened to our salads as they’d not been served. We began eating our meal, when the salads were delivered. Our table is over-flowing with plates, making it difficult to eat. The potatoes on all four of our meals were cold. Those who ordered Prime Rib, had to wait to eat as we’d not been provided steak knives. I’ve had prime rib before elsewhere and you could cut the meat with a fork, it was so tender. This was not the case with this meal. I was half way through my meal before our server came back to our table, so I could order another cocktail. Considering this was New Years Eve, and an early dinner reservation at 4:30pm, to beat the crowds we were greatly disappointed in our service and our meals. When the cost of your evening dining is over $400.00, Scott’s Bar and Grill will not be on our list of restaurants again in the future."

"We were quickly welcomed by the staff, and the atmosphere was inviting. Our waiter, Giorgio F, greeted us promptly, but after that, we felt neglected. We had to request his attention to order a bottle of wine, while other staff members took care of water, bread, and cleaning tables. It was frustrating to see him spend more time chatting with nearby tables than checking in on us; he would make eye contact but then walk away without any acknowledgment. He didn't inquire about our meal, clear any dishes, or offer us more bread. After we finished our meals, we had to ask for the dessert menu and ended up clearing our own table. Our bill totaled $160.20, based on a level of service that would typically earn a tip of $45+, but in this case, it certainly did not. It's worth mentioning that everyone at our table has experience in the food service industry, with half of us still working in it. We left feeling very disappointed. I truly feel sorry for the owner, as this employee's lack of service could lead to greater losses for the restaurant."

"I recently had dinner at this restaurant and was thoroughly impressed. The price per person was between $20-30, which I found to be reasonable for the quality of the meal. The food was top-notch and I would give it a 5 out of 5 rating. The service was also excellent, with attentive and friendly staff that made the dining experience even better. The atmosphere of the restaurant was also great, I would rate it 5 out of 5 as well. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant for a fantastic dining experience."

"2020 really did a number on this place and I feel like it’s best years are behind. I used to adore the salmon fillet and hold it up with the very best that you can find in the valley. I got to give props to the management staff for making good when something goes wrong for the customer. They will make all sorts of allotments. The problem is I don’t think the entrées and the presentation match the level that the restaurant is aspiring to. A few times I had the bread and it was a little bit tough whereas many years ago it used to be very nicely done where it’s hard but not too much. Lately it’s been overdone and dry and not worth it. Skip the bread. I had the prime rib and that was decent well done but so much of the cut is from the fat that you lose about 2 or 3 ounces. It’s unconscionable though that the salad they sent me home with was put into a cardboard box which could leak through. I thought maybe they put some aluminum foil down in the box to keep the salad isolated but the regard for salads at this place has definitely fallen off from when I would go for lunch entrées with salad regularly to hoping you don’t get poisoning from it. Their sirloin is excellent though but doesn’t do anything that really justifies the surcharge of the location. I know recent times have hit the restaurant industry tough but the changes to the dining hall which make it feel less comfortable, the fact that there was no courtesy Wi-Fi for people waiting, and a lot of the disregard for the food despite the high asking price makes it clear that this is not a location to go regularly unless you have a really good discount on hand. With the sorry state of steakhouses in the Antelope Valley, it’s unfortunate that this location is slipping in their regard for presentation. They still know how to do steaks but everything else is slipping. I used to go here a lot more often and unfortunately my previous visit will likely be my last."
