"This establishment is very rude and disrespectful to it’s patrons. I spoke with the manager Jennifer to explain that the chicken was very rubbery. But I never got the opportunity as she was very curt and rude. I hadn’t even spoken a word unfortunately before she verbally assaulted me. She accused me of desiring a free meal. And I simply wanted a nice meal after working a 12 hour shift serving others. She rolled her eyes forcefully trashing the food without hearing why I dislike the rubbery chicken. Then she accused me of wanting a free meal as I sat in my scrubs after a hard day of work. She forcibly trashed the food then she insulted me. She treated me like I was beneath her. I had not even said a full sentence. I understood that I was not welcomed as a patron here as she walked off before I finished explaining. As hurtful as this encounter was, I realized where I am unwelcome. I want to thank her for trying to show me my place. I don’t get the option to treat people like dirt as a registered nurse, but even if I could, I would never. Everyone deserves to be treated like a person. Unfortunately tonight I wasn’t."

"WHO TURNS DOWN A LARGE PARTY ORDER?! called to order pizzas for a party I was having at Burbank Park District Fusion Recplex I spoke to a very nice and helpful woman, Dakota. She even told us they offer a discount if it’s being delivered to the park district. I told her I would get the list of pizza toppings and I wanted and would call back. She said she wouldn’t be there but to let the NEW manager know about the discount when ordering. She even said I could call tomorrow to place the order. So when I called back to place the order for 10 of their largest pizzas I was told by the gentleman who answered that they were too busy to take the order for the next day and only had one delivery driver. I said not a problem I will pick up the pizzas then he said no, they still wouldn’t be able to take the order. Not sure what company turns down a large order like that, not to mention they are only located around the corner. But it’s okay, I now know they are too busy to service me and won’t try ordering again.I ended up ordering from Phil’s and it was fantastic! Thank you Dakota Phil’s pizza down the street!"

"Dont expect much here. This business relies on taking advantage if the late night crowd.. They take forever to make and deliver your order. Most times on busy nights they are taking 5 and 6 delivery orders at a time. If u are lucky enough to hit them up on their downtime beware they will recycle unused slices that are days old. Always ask for fresh slices. Most of the lunch meats and pasta items are frozen and not fresh. Lot of reliance on the microwave in the back of their kitchen. Their are also mice spotted which they choose to ignore. Also make sure to ask for fresh milkshakes as they have a tendency to reuse ones that were not picked up by customers. The fresh rolls that get delivered every few days are frozen and most likely have the appearance if fresh. Some of the items customers dont pick up are reused to other customers hours and sometimes even days later. Eat at your own risk and remember not all late night options are good ones."

"I ordered a penne vodka with grilled chicken, which is exactly as it is described on their menu and on DoorDash. When I received my order, I found bacon in my food, which is a problem as I have a bacon allergy. They claimed it was not their responsibility and told me to contact DoorDash. I understand that, but I will make sure to inform others that this restaurant needs to improve and take care of their customers, whether they are dining in or ordering delivery. All I wanted was a penne vodka pasta, so why is there bacon in it? This is not what I expected from them."

"I don't normally gives all Star Frank's pizza ?...my co worker had an cali chicken and I had (don't know what it's actually called,it's in the front where the pizza is a stuffed wrap that had sausage, peppers, onions, mozzarella and they gives you a marinara sauce to dip in it!!!! "Way overpriced. As far as the quality of the food goes, the pizza is okay. They obviously feel bigger is better and all the portions in this place are humongous. For some things, maybe too humongous. Like the chicken rolls for example. Way too much chicken inside than it needs to be. The balance of the roll is completely off. But the biggest takeaway is definitely the price. By far the most expensive pizzeria in Astoria. 2 slices, fries and coke will run you 18 dollars. I can’t get over how much the fries are in this place. 6.25 for a potato. Their logic is, If expenses goes up, let’s keep raising the prices. And they were raising the prices before this crazy inflation hit. But I have some logic of my own which is: if it doesn’t work as a business anymore, get rid of it!!"

"The food at this restaurant is great, but the service leaves much to be desired. I came for lunch and was impressed with the delicious food, particularly the Meatball Sub which was hot and cheesy with plenty of meatballs. However, I was disappointed when I tried the chicken parm, as it was just okay. When I visited with my family, the service was subpar. Although we were seated and served quickly, our server got almost every aspect of our order wrong. When we pointed out the mistakes, the server did not offer to replace the incorrect items. Additionally, we were charged separately for fries and mozzarella sticks, which was not disclosed upfront. Overall, I may still visit again, but I have concerns about the service and may not return in the future."
