"Way overpriced. As far as the quality of the food goes, the pizza is okay. They obviously feel bigger is better and all the portions in this place are humongous. For some things, maybe too humongous. Like the chicken rolls for example. Way too much chicken inside than it needs to be. The balance of the roll is completely off. But the biggest takeaway is definitely the price. By far the most expensive pizzeria in Astoria. 2 slices, fries and coke will run you 18 dollars. I can’t get over how much the fries are in this place. 6.25 for a potato. Their logic is, If expenses goes up, let’s keep raising the prices. And they were raising the prices before this crazy inflation hit. But I have some logic of my own which is: if it doesn’t work as a business anymore, get rid of it!!"

Crust was soft with a crunch. The sauce is a bit sweet... I actually TASTE the sauce! ? Chill atmosphere and plenty of space.

GROSS. Threw my slice in the trash can. Place looks old but clearly not well run. Shocked such a bad place is open in this area.

Something about the marinara sauce I don't like. Had the lasagna no bueno) had a slice no bueno) but the staff is really nice there

Pizza Palace feels like a relic of the 80s in the best way possible, from the decor inside to the glow of it outside on a cold winter evening. They seem to have a nice selection of slices and a ton of other stuff too. The slices are huge for the price. View menu

Pizza The Palace has a charming nostalgic vibe reminiscent of the 80s, which adds to its character, especially on a chilly winter evening with its inviting exterior lighting. They offer a great variety of pizza slices and plenty of other menu options. The size of the pizzas is impressive for the price.

Yeah idk what happened to this place but every time I order a pie from these guys I have to call back and complain and I mean I'm not ordering anything crazy it's literally a plain cheese pie and we'll I'll let the photos speak for itself but question is what pizza spot delivers a pizza that's not cut up and the cheese won't stay on the slice ?

This restaurant is a great corner spot. I’ve only tried a plain slice of pizza and a small Coke, but I found the pizza to be quite good. The slice is a decent size, though I think $7 feels a bit steep for just a slice and a drink. The staff is attentive as soon as you walk in, and I appreciate that they don’t pressure customers about wearing masks. There’s also plenty of seating inside, which is nice. I’m looking forward to returning to try some of the other pizza toppings. View menu

I was truly impressed by this restaurant! After spending 45 minutes waiting at a nearby place without even receiving our appetizer, my friend and I decided to leave. We didn't want to waste a beautiful sunny day, so we opted for a quick slice at Pizza Palace. I ordered the veggie pizza, and it was packed with toppings like broccoli, zucchini, and sun-dried tomatoes. It was so flavorful! I've never had veggie pizza this delicious before. I also tried the spanakopita, which was fantastic. I highly recommend this charming, old-school spot!

This is easily the worst food I've ever encountered. I decided to give this place a shot while recovering from a brutal Sunday hangover, thinking some greasy comfort food might do the trick. But, on the contrary, it was a completely different experience. I'd have preferred a personal pizza from Subway any day. Honestly, I would pay $100 for a slice from anywhere else rather than accept a free pizza from this place. If I were on my deathbed, I’d ask for Pizza Palace, just so that the taste of the food would finish me off before the injection.

"We went to Bread N Wine on a early Saturday afternoon for brunch. We were greeted and seated by the servers who were attentive. The food was okay the bread was really soft and fresh. My partner got the French Lentil Soup, Spinach and Tomato Egg Bake andI got the French onion soup, egg omelette with spicy tomato avocado and onions. I wasn 't happy with my omelette because thespicy just meant it was covered in hot sauce within. For beverages, we got chai lattes (we later found out it wasn 't tea basedbut rather coffee) and we had the option of oat milk, almond milk or regular milk. In terms of our overall experience we feltby the end too many things were steering the experience south; the worst was when we were accused of using counterfeit money topay for the tip. There was no special marker used to prove that the money was counterfeit or technology to back up this claim. That experience alone left a bad taste in our mouth as we left embarrassed by that claim, kind of shook from that, we stilladded the tip to our credit card 18%. As we walked out and talked about how weird that was, the owner of the business nextdoor overheard us and asked to see the $20 bill he showed us that our money was real and validated what we knew, that themoney wasn 't counterfeit. When we went back into Bread N Wine to discuss this there was no apology, just well, it felt thatway , shrug. It left a terrible feeling. We would not go back after that, this is not how you treat customers from start tofinish, hence the 2 star review."
