"What frustrated me was that I asked if there was any way to work around the situation, like ordering there and paying in person, especially since the line was so long. Instead, I had to wait in line without any food, discount, or alternative offered. The employee essentially told me that there was no way to resolve it, which was frustrating. Having worked in the food industry for over seven years, I know that this was not the best way to handle a customer. She made no effort to apologize for the inconvenience or offer any solutions. I understand that everyone has off days, but this situation was poorly managed."

"I ordered a grilled cheeseburger but was disappointed to find it only had half a slice of cheese. When I brought it to the manager's attention, she showed me two small bits of cheese, insisting that this was the appropriate amount. She claimed that the grilled cheeseburger looked different at this restaurant compared to how it appears online, which was clearly not the case. "The reason i give this only one star is because once you have given your order, when you get up to the window to pay and get your food, they will not allow you to add anything to your order. This is totally ridiculous and it definitely does not scream CUSTOMER SERVICE. Its bad enough the high prices we pay for items that are half the size they used to be, and that customers have to request any condiments they want or you get nothing, but not being able to add to your order once at the window is just bad for business. I know for one that i am tired of being ripped off by every business in this area!! Get it together Jack In The Box! Your rules stink, makes me never want to go there again!!"

"I can't believe how terrible this Jack in the Box location is! During my latest visit, they served me burnt food, which was the final straw for me—I won’t be coming back. I've had several frustrating experiences here, like receiving the wrong order multiple times, struggling to hear the staff because they mumble through the speaker, and dealing with rude employees who just hand me my food without any acknowledgment or a simple "enjoy your meal" or "have a nice day." To top it off, this location even has the audacity to place a tip jar outside the drive-thru window. It's laughable! There’s no way I would ever consider tipping at this Jack in the Box."

"Next, I tried the Loaded Breakfast. After one bite, I could tell that it had American cheese on top of what seemed to be some eggs and a sausage patty that had been sitting on a warmer. The greasy taste confirmed that it wasn’t fresh and the cheese was barely melted. I returned to the counter to let the staff know that I had asked for no cheese when ordering. The person there insisted that I only requested soda instead of coffee. I’m certain I clearly stated "no cheese" right after saying "Number 24, Loaded Breakfast Combo." Rather than argue and ruin my day, I chose to let it go, thanked them, and threw the cheesy bread in the trash. I must note that there were no apologies or attempts to make things right—apparently, as a customer, I was the one in the wrong. On a positive note, the bathroom was clean, which I appreciated, especially after the experience with the not-so-great cheese! **Dietary Restrictions:** If you have specific dietary restrictions, make sure to communicate them clearly to the staff. It might help to repeat your needs and have them confirm back to you to avoid any confusion. **Parking:** The restaurant has its own designated parking area, and there's plenty of additional parking available in the strip mall and by Pep Boys."

"Incompetent employee. Made app order. Arrived. Employee stated they're closed. Stated she's unable to see the order. Informed her I made an app order and the drink I want; didn't tell her what I ordered. She instructed me to wait at parking lot andinformed me again she can't see what I ordered. Again, didn't tell her what I ordered. She prepared the order but, includedveggies and sauce on the sandwich. Strange because, supposedly the restaurant was closed and she can't see what I ordered. Inever even told her what I ordered. Just that I want he drink to be unsweetened tea and half sprite. She even got the drinkwrong. She just seems like an emotional and lazy employee who intentionally lied about being closed to avoid working. "Warning Review of Jack in the Box, 4289 Campus Drive, Irvine, California 92612: I had an absolutely terrible experience at this location. The employees and management were frustrating and disrespectful. They refused to honor a valid coupon specific to their store, hid in the back, and ignored customers. This place is unethical, dirty, and not worth your time. I will be reporting them to Jack in the Box corporate, the Entertainment Club, Yelp, Google, the Better Business Bureau, and local authorities. Stay away from this fraudulent and incompetent establishment. I will also be seeking legal action against them.Look at photos showing the entertainment club with their ad in it and also the coupon showing the store and location where're it could be redeemed. The manager at Jack in the Box claimed on my camera that the Entertainment Club was fraudulent and they never heard of them or ever advertised with them. This is very serious allegation and I will report this and show the video to the Club. Stay away and be-careful. I will also be reporting them to Irvine Company. ."

"I always take out (they have drive thru) from this place so I can't say much about the atmosphere inside the restaurant but can definitely vouch for the taste and service. Food quality is always consistent here and service is fast. I generally customize my order as most of my family members are vegetarian hence we go for item #22 from the menu and replace sausage with hash brown. It tastes like McAloo Tikki Burger that one can find at McDonald's in India. Today I waited for a couple of mins because they were making hash brown. All good if the food is served hot and fresh.Vegetarian options: Customize any menu item by replacing meat with hash browns"

I'm not alone in this opinion; I have a coworker who actually drives past another Jack in the Box just to come to this one! The food and service here are the best I've encountered in the Fullerton/Brea area, and their menu truly outshines the competition. Please don’t change a thing!"

"Eric has horrible customer service. I got 6 Taco 1 small frie and asked for hot sauce ranch he gave me one ranch get out of my car I said Hi can I get some more ranch you just gave me 1 he said you only gout 1 frie I said well you should have probably asked how many I want not assume they are for my fries I then asked how much for ranch he said .25 so I said OK go grab my wallet to buy 4 he than doesn't hand them to but places them to the side regardless if didn't want to put them in my hand he could have placed then infront of me. I have been at your store multiple times never ever had a problem. I hope Eric never gets promoted because he is a crappy employee not a good person to working for such a big company"
"I've visited this location a few times, but lately, I've been waiting at the speaker box without getting a response. When I drive up to the window, I can see someone inside, but she just walked to the back. She looked like she might have been the manager based on what she was wearing. If you’re not interested in working, maybe you should block the drive-thru lane. I appreciate your response, but honestly, the same issue has been mentioned since 2020. Just take a look at the reviews—nothing seems to change. Don't worry about it."

"The staff was friendly enough. I am obviously disabled and use a cane. AFTER I parked and walked in and ordered a huge delivery truck blocked me in and I, kindly, advised the lady that they would need to move so I could leave after I ate. When I finished I reminded them that I now needed to leave immediately and they couldn't have cared less. Rather than walking throug their store and advising the driver I needed out, apparently they felt it made more sense for me to walk around the store with my cane and ask the driver myself when he was a few feet away from them. I finally got some movement after losing my temper and threatening to call the police. Low rTing for hideous customer service"
"I Wanted to go to Jack-in-the-Box to get some cheap tacos and I was going after a long day of work. I Figured to take the drive-through because it's usually quicker. I didn't think I was going to end up spending 30 minutes in the drive-through. Took about 10 minutes before someone actually went to the speaker to take my order. Then I spent another 10 minutes waiting for two cars in front of me to get their order, and then another 10 minutes for the car front of me to get their order they ordered six milkshakes and it seemed to take an eternity to make. And then I finally made it to the window to get my four orders of .99 tacos and that took another 10 minutes to get my bag to the window. There were two people working in the store and most of the time I just heard them having chitchat and I don't even know for sure if they were even doing anything. It was ridiculous and how long myself and the other cats had to wait. I had just gotten off of work. It was Sunday afternoon and I was missing my team play their football game and I was not very happy. This location really needs to take an account of their drive-through times. I'm sure I'm not the only person who has complained about this location."

"On Saturday at 8:15 PM, I went through the drive-thru and my order totaled $8.82. I handed over a $20 bill, but the cashier asked if I had anything smaller. I explained that we only had $8.32, but he continued to insist on the full amount. We repeated that we only had $8.32, which is why we gave him the $20. We even asked if he could let us go for just 50 cents. He then asked for an additional dollar! Why? He claimed they didn't have any change. But why is that my problem? If they didn’t have change, it would leave us short. They should have posted a sign at the order screen about needing exact change and informed us of the total price when we ordered! Honestly, if I could give zero stars, I would!"

It’s not the first time I’ve been held hostage in their drive through while the employees completely disappear.Last night I waited behind a car at the window for 20 minutes, they got their food bags as soon as I pulled behind them. NO ICE, Fountain Drink station broke multiple days in a row, a customer came back a second time because there was hair in his food, floors where employees work were unbelievably messy. i understand it gets chaotic during rushes but whenthe work floor is in plain view and is as wide open as it is here it might be a good idea from purely a business standpoint toassign someone to just keep things looking sanitary to avoid any potential complaints, based off of this review it sounds like aone star establishment, on the contrary, i come here often and 90% of the time its perfect and the store is ran smoothly andprofessionally, given how busy it is i know this is probably difficult feat to keep running at a perfect 100% efficiency rate.Big props to your crew for their hard work, it's why I come back. "I have been a loyal customer of Jack in the Box since 1983. Last night, around 9:30 to 9:45 PM, my wife and I walked to the dining room only to find the door locked. My wife suggested we use the drive-thru instead. As she turned to head back to the car, she noticed a petite lady cleaning the soda machine. I believe her name is Alondra. She reassured us that the drive-thru was open, which made me very happy because I had a rumbling stomach! I expressed my appreciation for her attention to detail while cleaning the soda machine; it was truly refreshing to see someone take pride in their work."
