"The staff are extremely friendly from the minute you walk in until the time you leave. Everyone seems to work like a team which makes any business successful. The food was excellent especially the scallops and pork. The pasta with mussels were amazing. It’s actually on of the best pasta I have ever had, perfectly cooked al dente. Marco our server was very professional and made great recommendations. He definitely knows his food. Our desserts was fabulous. Definitely order the cannoli and the zeppolis, they are definitely our favorites. We will definitely be coming back!!! Thank you Marco your amazing service!!"

"Listen?. This place has some charm! The owner and the wait staff are excellent and extremely pleasant, and maybe it was just really good because it came at the end of a long day, but as someone who currently lives in the south? They?re fried chickenwith country gravy and mashed potatoes was amazing. In fact, everything we had was amazing. I even got an old-fashioned eggcream that was to die for? if you like that sort of thing, that is. And I did! Definitely worth it? Go when you get a chance. another A+ for them being multi-lingual and being able to talk to my group in several languages! They?re there to accommodateand were one of my favorite places to eat during our visit to NYC."

"I used to order from this place when it was called Penelope's so I decided to give Rony's a try. I ordered a large plain pizza for take out. That's it. A simple order. Got the pizza burned. Took it back inside to get my money back. Was offered another large plain that was already in another box, but I didn't want it. (How long has it been sitting there? Who knows, who cares The owner, I'm guessing, starts talking back to me when I simply stated I wanted my money back. Mind you, I was not being hostile at all. He just didn't want to waste money and throw out the pizza. Maybe don't burn the pizza for your customers next time. So get this, he said it was my fault and that I should've asked for a lightly cooked pizza. Really? You mean that I have to call and order a lightly cooked pizza every time because you don't know how to make pizzas? So, please tell me, who calls and orders a burned pizza? Instead of apologizing, he keeps running his mouth and tells me how he has lots of customers (yet his parking lot is empty). I feel sorry for the fools who order anything from this dirty pizza place. By the way, what do you think he did with the burned pizza he gave me after I returned it? Do you think he threw it out? Nope! He put it on top of his oven and will probably try to pass it off on the next customer. I wouldn't give Rony's pizza to a starving rat, it's that bad."

"My husband, 9 year old daughter and I enjoyed an absolutely fantastic meal here tonight while on a weekend trip in Chattanooga. Everything we had was top notch. I would confidently say it's top 5 restaurants we've been to. We enjoyed the Foie Gras toast, Strawberry Onion soup and seared scallops for our starters the scallops were cooked to perfection and everything else was perfect as well. I had the duck also perfect. My husband had the Wagyu New York strip. It was the best wagyu we've ever had. I should also mention they were accommodating for my daughter as well and got her a burger and fries from the place next door. Overall it was a very pleasant and enjoyable experience. I would come back to Chattanooga just to eat here again no question."

"This is the first time my wife and I have ever walked out of a restaurant. Party of 2, arrived at 6pm for a 6:30pm reservation. My wife and I enjoyed a drink at the bar, which was excellent. We were then seated outside at 6:30, and things went downhill. We saw 2-3 servers/staff stop and look at us but no one, no one, said anything to us, let alone greet us. It was a gorgeous night and we were chatting so we didn't pay much mind. After a bit, however, it was ridiculous. My wife went to the hostess stand. We were quickly given some bread and waters. It was 7:05pm. We were told the manager and a server would be over in a minute. At this point we were done. At 7:08pm we had it and left, opting to walk a short distance to Lib's Grill. On the walk over I called the restaurant to ask why we were ignored and spoke with the manager. While pleasant and apologetic out night out was compromised. She said they were short staffed and had several large parties that needed attention. We were very much looking forward to a good night and what looked and smelled to be great food. The manager asked us to come back and she would give us a $25 gift certificate. I said we were there for 38 minutes at a table, in the front to boot, and were completely ignored. Why would we walk back? In this day and age, completely unacceptable. Shame on Galliano, thank you Lib's Grill for a terrific meal and outstanding service!"

"The food is generally good, and I’ve rarely been disappointed. However, I did have one experience where I ordered the steak quesadillas, which came with rice, guacamole, and beans. Unfortunately, the guacamole was quite unappetizing, possibly because it was overripe, so I ended up leaving it untouched. Honestly, that's something you shouldn't encounter at a restaurant. As for the service, it can be a bit slow, with delays in getting the food. There’s also a rude waitress who really detracts from the overall experience, but aside from that, the rest of the staff is quite friendly. I absolutely love the ambiance in this place; it’s one of the reasons it’s one of my favorite dining spots. It makes me feel good and welcomed. I also adore the decor and the way the tables are arranged."

"We were pleasantly surprised to find that this restaurant was not too crowded when we visited on Saturday night of Memorial Day weekend. The atmosphere is very laid-back and whimsical. Tucked away in a small corner, the outdoor terrace was not overly noisy. We tried the wings and the black bean burger, both of which were delicious. I would also recommend trying the "world's smallest chocolate sundae." It's a tiny shot of chocolate syrup served with ice cream and whipped cream, but it's absolutely delicious. It's just the right size to satisfy your sweet tooth without feeling too heavy. Overall, a great experience - we will definitely be returning."

"I’ve been eating at Original Joes for more years then I would like to admit and never had an issue, except for my last visit. My friend and I decided to each order the Eggs Benedict. When the dish’s arrived all we could see were overcooked somewhat burnt potato’s which seemed to have been reintroduced to the grill a few times to warm up. The English muffin was as delicate as a hockey puck, and should have used a steak knife to cut into it. Then there was an “essence” of Béarnaise sauce enough to give the plate the identity of eggs benedict. I will return but not for brunch, at least not for the eggs Benedict. Our server was super great!!"

"This has always been one of our go to places. However, the last recent visit left us disappointed. The service is always excellent. However, the food was not up to par.. We both ordered veal parmesan, which we 've had in the past and enjoyed; this time was not one of those cases. Portions of the meat were hard and contained grizzle. We were both halfway through the meat when we realized it and did not feel comfortable returning the food. Oh well, I guess every once in a while there 's a hiccup; disappointed that it was at our expense."

"Since everything we’ve ever had here is consistently excellent, we did the filet special and the pizza special (Syd . Never an issue here and tonight was another example of an exceptional experience. I gotta say, for a city with incredible steakhouses, Pitch Dundee blew them out of the water with this filet over risotto special. The Syd (pizza special could likely be the slice that quiets the ‘pineapple on pizza’ naysayers. Spicy. Just sweet enough. Salty. (Oh man. I’m glad I can heat up a couple of leftover slices of that after writing this I’m craving it again! Jack, our server, was on it as usual and was a great guy to work with.This place is a can’t miss! Make a reservation even during the week for dinner. You won’t regret it. Check out the house label red wines outstanding stuff!"

"First visit here and was very happy with it. Menu was huge...many choices. For a diner, it was was very clean inside. This isnt your typical greasy spoon. Waiter was friendly and the food was very good. I had the Italian Burger with a side of fries. Burger was not a sopping greasy mess but was tasty, with a good amount of toppings. I had a cup of coffee as well. .. waiter brought out a mug of coffee! Even the coffee was tasty...not burnt old jo. Btw the way at the table was a sign advertising bottles of wine at prices that you usually don't see in a restaurant. This place has been here a long time, wish I had come here sooner! As an afterthought.. If the chefs there read this.. add some hot pickled cherry peppers to that Italian Burger for a real winning alternative."

"I friend back home recommended this place. We made reservations for a casual Christmas dinner. We had an awesome 2 top in the front window with all the Lincoln Ave decorations lit up! Great service and food, and we so appreciated it on Christmas after a day of skiing! Italian cream sodas were the bomb, the wedge salad and bread was a great start, our entrees were delicious, and we had coffee and a fudge brownie sundae for dessert. "I met my friend there this past Wednesday to celebrate her birthday. We met at the location in the Walt Whitman mall We were seated in a booth as we had requested. There we sat for about 20 minutes before our server acknowledged us . After taking our order we didn’t receive so much as water for another 1/2 hour . She disappeared for about 50 minutes . I went to the front and mentioned we hadn’t seen our server .we asked what’s taking so long? She claimed it was because I ordered my burger well done . Well my burger arrives and not only wasn’t it well done but it wasn’t the one I ordered . I send it back and my friend starts eating her fish which was a bit cold and I wait . Someone from management was taking care of me now and he brings me a new order . Also not the one I ordered and with fries not the salad I ordered . This was the 2 nd attempt How does a restaurant take 4 tries to fill a simple order. No apology when it took 2 more tries to get my simple order correct . I had to pack it up cause I wasn’t hungry any longer . We got a slice of cheesecake we had to ask for which they give bday people anyway and an accusation from the actual manger I asked for that nothing about our horrible experience was a big deal and I just didn’t want to pay for hamburger. He kept saying the incorrect orders were no big deal. I guess they wanted me to pay and eat what they wanted not what I wanted . The upsetting part was they felt they did nothing wrong . The miserable attitude complimented the miserable experience of a restaurant that used to be a fun good place to dine . Turns out our server was apparently covering us on the opposite side of the restaurant where her section was and was offering no service to us under protest cause she had to go back and forth . Her misery was clearly visible as she never once checked on us .Apparently everyone is unhappy there which means management isn’t doing their job and needs to move to a quiet location where they can sit and not do anything. Unprofessional and angry attitude there . Stick with places that are happy to see customers.also, I made several attempts to call and leave a voicemail for their customer service as you can’t get one on the phone during business hours so after 4 voicemail attempts I gave up and decided never to return. Parking: Typical mall lot with traffic and hard to find parking."

"The service is probably the best we had in a long time. Our server Jamese was so personal that we could not help, but every time she died to check us out. I started with a good Mannered Dirty Martini. I suggest you ask for him extra dirty. The food was delicious, but we wished we knew our lunch special didn't come with something other than the duck. "The atmosphere was lively with upbeat, modern music, and the restaurant is located in the Union Square shopping area. For me, it was a high-end dining experience. However, as someone who is quite frugal, I found the prices a bit hard to swallow. I'm not wealthy, and many of the menu items sounded amazing, but I couldn’t justify spending that much on a single meal. I dream of a dining experience that is enjoyable and welcoming but still affordable. It’s important to learn where budget-friendly options exist and where they don’t. Dining alone meant I couldn’t really bring a date with these prices! I dislike spending more than necessary on anything. I ended up having a salad with a little chicken and a quesadilla topped with guacamole, diced tomatoes, and sour cream. It was delicious! Still, my budget limited me to just that. This bittersweet feeling is something many people can relate to. And I can’t help but wonder who those people are with the hidden cameras on them. I certainly didn’t pay for those bizarre fish-eye lenses from Tijuana!"

"The service was excellent. Our waitress was super accommodating and checked on us very often. The menu is incredibly huge, we literally spent 20 minutes deciding what to get. This is both good and bad because you have lots of options to fit your mood,but the quality for some of the plates are not exceptional. For instance, one of our pastas tasted pretty bland. The Jamaicanshrimp plate was good and had some decent spice, but pretty inconsistent with some shrimps having shell pieces and otherswithout. Whichever plate you decide to go for, you should definitely finish off with a slice of cheesecake. The ultimate redvelvet cake slice is very good and can easily feed 4."
