the old fashion was usually mixed. the trout had crispy skin?, the flesh was perfectly spiced. the kartoffeln seemed out of place tho and they were only fried.

Everything we ate was wonderful! Our server was friendly but unintrusive. The place is comfortable, not overly crowded with too many seats crammed into too little space. When this Chef finally wins her well-deserved James Beard award, you'll never get a seat, so get there now!

I loved the unique menu. The shrimp rolls, beet salad and bacon wrapped quail were phenomenal. Drinks were great too. They were very accommodating for my daughter and just made plain Mac and cheese with the peas on the side. The Mac and cheese was out of this world! Highly recommend this restaurant. View menu

You simply can NOT go wrong with the Goat Cheese appitizer. OMG, foodgasms. Met friends who had not eaten at the Meeting Place (our 3rd trip). They loved it. Chef Rebecca Barron is so wonderful with innovative pairings and layers of tastes within a meal. All plates were eaten clean and not a disappointed mouth among us.

Christina our server was exceptional. The food, AS ALWAYS, is great! A little secret, one of the best filet's in town is here at SJMP! Still our favorite restaurant in all of Chattanooga and there are a lot of good ones for sure but SJMP always meets or exceeds our expectations and we like the semi casual atmosphere as well.
