"The delivery driver was satisfactory. The food appeared a bit haphazardly assembled, but it did taste good. They often forget to add bacon to my burger, but since there's no extra charge for it, I don't mind too much. The food is tasty, but the dining area is quite cramped. You will likely end up bumping elbows or legs with someone else, as it gets busy very quickly. Additionally, the food is rarely ready by the promised time, so if you're picking up, I'd recommend waiting an extra 10-20 minutes after the suggested pickup time."

"The food has always has always tasted great here. Most people think they’ll get phenomenal Greek food if they visit places like Mykonos or Santorini or some swanky area in Athens…. All you have to do is venture down Cannon Drive into this hidden gem in the golden triangle aptly called Loùka. Vasili the owner and Fotis the manager do the very best they can do to replicate the flavors of their hometown with much splendor, authenticity and deliciousness! Match that with a fine, imported and extensive wine list and you’re guaranteed a perfect setting with an elevated palate."

"For our second visit, the host and staff cordially seated us in the dining room, attended to us promptly and afforded us a personal visit from the friendly owner. We had read that alcoholic beverages are now being served, a wonderful and anticipated change from our first visit. Bottled water with a basket of pita and chopped marinated red pepper were offered as a complimentary starter while we reviewed the options for our meals. The menu is extensive and the portions are ample. For an appetizer, my wife I enjoyed authentic falafel with humus and arugula accompanied with a sour cream topping. Unlike what we’ve eaten in other restaurants that serve this delicacy, our appetizer was savory, nicely presented and tasted better than any we’ve had in the Capital District. For our main dishes, my wife, a vegetarian, had the eggplant salad platter with baby baked potatoes, cherry tomatoes, ample cheese topping and a sizable green salad. My dinner meal was the branzino filets, delicately and artfully arranged mashed potatoes and a green salad. Both meals were served on large plates and very hot. Neither plate had any leftovers! Completing our meal were a serving of pistachio baklava and a pot of decaffeinated rooibos tea. The ambiance and excellent service by Sean made for an extremely favorable impression on us during this follow up visit. Needless to say, we highly recommend this restaurant, and we’ll be back!"

"I had the opportunity to visit Walnut Creek today and was excited to have lunch at Lokanta, as I had enjoyed dining there a few times before the pandemic. However, my experience today was disappointing compared to my previous visits. The highlight of my meal was the cocktail I ordered. I decided on the meatballs, baked prawns, rice pilaf, and roasted Brussels sprouts. The rice was average, but everything else was overcooked. The meatballs were charred, tough, and dry, lacking flavor. Similarly, the prawns were dry, chewy, and overcooked. The Brussels sprouts were the worst of all, appearing black and shriveled, and tasted disgusting. When I mentioned my dislike for the dish to the server, he took it away and brought back the same burnt Brussels sprouts. Despite only tasting one and disliking it, I was still charged for the dish. This was a first for me and left me quite shocked."

"First of all, this restaurant DOES NOT have a bar. They have a wine list, but you are able to bring your own liquor (hard liquor, beer, and/or wine). My mom and I shared a bottle of sangria, AND we were able to take it to go when it wasn't finished. It came with fruit on the time and a pitcher of ice. It was BOMB.com ! I started with some lobster bisque. DELICIOUS! This was so good that my mom got her some to-go. Nice pieces of lobster and the soup itself was radiant in flavor! The caesar salad was pretty good but the croutons were salty. Sans the croutons and it's everything you need it to be and it doesn't need any additional dressing to go with it. My mom also ordered the clams casino and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I ended up getting the stuffed shrimp. The shrimp was stuffed with real crab meat almost like crab cakes without filler. I am going to get this EVERY TIME I come here. The mashed potatoes tasted like they may have been instant but I would get them again or possible sub them out. I like the vegetables, also. It was something different! The restaurant looks so cute on the inside. My mom had seen it from the train and the back makes it look like a regular0degular restaurant but it's quaint and smells wonderfully when you enter the building. We were pleasantly suprised. I will be back when I'm in NJ."

"The food was ok overall. Not the best Greek I 've ever had, but still ok. The Calamari was over cooked bad, sent back, still over cooked. To their credit they did take it off the bill when it was told. It was just not edible. The kids Mac and cheese was reported to be ok by a kid who isn 't real pickyTht hummus was good by all who had itThe gyro platter was disappointing. Served as ala carte meat with a small cup of tomato, a small pile of lettuce and a small pile of tzaiki sauce, tht problem was one pita cut in half. So you get two mini open face gyros for almost 30 bucks. If they won 't serve me a real gyro wrap I won 't order this again. The platter is a rip off My real problem was the service. She was super sweet and really nice, but I had to stalk her to get drink refills and my mini gyro platter was served 15 minutes after all other food was served.Mandatory tip for mediocre service is criminal. You understand why it 's mandatory, because merit based tips would mirror the service-just not real good.Overall it was a mini family reunion, The actual event salvages the score, reflecting over the actual meal the score would mirror the good."

"Noraâs is always a great spot to grab a bite, and this time didnât disappoint. The only issue I had was really small. I had asked for rice to be served separately and not plated with my meal. When the server brought the food and I indicated the rice was to have been served on the side the response was âyeah, I told em but they didnât do itâ and no effort was made to correct the situation. Mildly disappointing. But the delicious food quickly made up for the faux pas and the server was otherwise attentive"

"I ordered pasta and meatballs, but when I received my meal, there was hardly any sauce—it was like boiled pasta and meatballs. I called to inform the manager about this, but instead of an apology, I got an attitude. He told me that if I wanted extra sauce, I should have asked for it. I was just visiting the area and wanted to try this restaurant, but it was a major regret. I won't be coming back, and I don't recommend it to anyone. I ended up throwing it in the garbage since I’m staying in a hotel, and it’s not like I could go to the grocery store to buy tomato sauce. What a waste of $18."

"I ordered pizza and wings and from the minute I received my food I was highly disappointed. One of the flavors of the wings was incorrect even through the receipt had the correct flavor on it. In addition, the wings looked as if they were cooked one day prior and were as hard as wood. I wish that was as bad as it got, but when I opened my pizza boxes, I noticed that each slice was cut in a different shape. One slice was even almost cut in a square the absolute worst service I’ve ever heard from a carry out pizza place needless to say I will never order from here again"

"Parking goes all the way around three sides of the restaurant. And this is truly needed, because of the large square footage inside the restaurant. The parking lot was full on a Wednesday night! When I walked in, there was a bar area immediately to the right for you to grab your first cocktail, but I have never had to wait for a table. They have an equally sized outdoor patio as they have available seating area inside. If you sit on the patio where you're not staring at the parking lot, you will be fully transformed into a little Mediterranean vacation with twinkle lights above the pergola and vines on the wall. The place was fully packed outside with many people sipping on Lemontinis. First, we got the Spanakopita, which was basically a savory baklava but with diced feta and spinach inside with tomato sauce to accompany it. The Skewers were fabulous to split with a pal, as they come with a large portion of protein kebabs with rice, tomato onion, Taziki, and two slices of pita. The chicken was so tender and could convert anyone who doesn't like chicken to like chicken. These Plateia chefs are absolutely using a thermometer to cook, because nothing has been overdone, ever. Little loud at times for my 32-year-old ears to hear, but it was because of the bustling environment with people all around chatting and and having a grand old time. How could you blame them?"

"Today, I ordered a Tangier omelette and lentil soup from a restaurant through GrubHub. I can't provide feedback on the soup as I will be having it for dinner later, but I was disappointed with the omelette. The seasoning in the eggs and potatoes was good, but the avocado was overripe and very brown. It seemed like someone had intentionally chosen a bad avocado for this paid service. Despite the restaurant's great reviews, I feel like I received a subpar order, so I don't think I will be ordering from here again."

"Ordered from here 9:06 PM and promptly sat in the front (which is not 20 minutes before close) and to clear up any confusion from the diner's response (suggesting this was only a 20 min situation) I've added a photo. I waited 40 minutes and left when they confirmed my sandwich wasn't ready and said I could get my refund through the app. I finally worked out the refund with Grubhub (which is why the review was changed from 1 star to 2). The manager (or whoever the tall guy in the front was) acted like he couldn’t take a second to help resolve it. The place was half empty at the time. Ultimately, it was a wasted hour that resulted in me eating from another establishment."

"First time guest. Great quality food for the price. It was very busy due to a concert nearby. However, I did not have to wait to be seated. I was quite surprised at the capacity they have. I had the meat lovers calzone as the main dish and spinach artichoke dip appetizer. The artichoke dip was something very special as it has a bit of dill to make it stand out. The calzone was a good size and had excellent quality meats and cheese. Generous portion of house made marinara. Parking was difficult (took over 10 minutes to find a spot) and the busyness made service 4 stars, however they did a great job getting the food out once ordered. I would go back for sure."

"I had the most amazing homemade chicken burger paired with a Greek side salad. Everything was incredibly fresh and delicious! Typically, when dining out, you might encounter disappointing, hard pink tomatoes, but not here. The tomato on my burger was the freshest and ripest I've seen in ages, complemented by fresh cucumbers, pickled onions, feta cheese, and an incredible seeded bun—so tasty! My side salad was beautifully arranged, featuring diced cucumbers, cherry tomatoes, Greek olives, feta cheese, sliced onions, and a delicious dressing. The burger was served with two super crispy onion rings that were just perfect! I’m usually not a fan of diners, but this place has won me over, and I’ll definitely be coming back many times. As for the other meals at our table, I could easily spend hours talking about those, as they all looked fantastic too!"

"Terrible. Had a breakfast, omelette specifically. Wasn't an omelette, but a pile of cooked eggs. Zero filling...i.e corn beef, way way way too much cheese and was just terrible. Luke warm hash browns. I'd bet they had been made earlier in the morning and reheated. Just bland and tasteless. It was honestly the worst breakfast I have ever paid for in my life...a $10 breakfast no less. I sat and read a good portion of the newspaper as well and had only one cup of coffee with 0 refills nor did my waitress come and check on me. She did have the audacity to ask me if I wanted a box to take my 7/8 of an uneaten omelette with me...it was terrible fresh, poisonous reheated I am sure. I can not explain my level of dissatisfacton more and really question the authenticity of some of the positive reviews. I generally speak for myself, but several people had told me that their breakfast was awful and expensive, but being stubborn, I didn't think they all (6 different, unrelated people) could be right. And they were more the right. It is a crime to have to pay $10 to have garbage served to you in that manner. Again, it wasnt even an omelette, but scrambled eggs shaped in a big fluffy rectangle. Uh, it was distgusting!!!"

"I experienced true Greek cooking with a modern flair at the newest location of @vaskouzina. They have two locations: downtown Roswell and the newer, larger location in Alpharetta. As soon as you walk in you are transported to Greece with the music, the ambiance, and the food. Whole fish are sitting atop ice for your choosing as you walk to your table. Such a great spot for a date night or to take your out of town friends. I was most impressed by the Saganaki which is aflaming cheese that literally comes out on fire and the chargrilled Lavraki which is a whole Mediterranean sea bass that is deboned tableside by the chef! You have to check this place out. The layout is absolutely beautiful. I love thatyou can do a little shopping before or afterward at the in store market that is stocked with Greek oils and other essentials to elevate your at home meals. The baklava bites and cheesecake for dessert was the icing on top! This was some ofthe freshest seafood that I have ever had. Everything was so flavorful and delicious and the atmosphere was fantastic. I will definitely be back. Thank you for having me! "I went to Jack's on 4th of July, 2024 and I was met with a very warm smile at the reception, and was seated at a comfortable seat which often is not the case as I go on my own with no company, at times get seats in the corners or on the bar benches. I had swedish pan cake and a veggie omlettte. I loved the omlette as it was rich in flavor and had enough veggies which were done well. Swedish pancake was soft though ligonberry butter could be better for it had more buttery taste than ligonberry in it. I also got black coffee, which was alright. The part which I loved the most was the service, I was attended to by Veronica, thanks for making my experience great."
