"I walked over from Phillips RV excited to have breakfast. Grossly, Disgusting back door wide open, it's filthy from the view of the parking lot. Went inside, Stunk of grease bad, Flies everywhere! Where's the health department in Bourbonnais? I have been in a lot of ihops and this one is far worse than any of them and it's no wonder they had no guests in there! They can blame it on covid all they want, They need to clean up this nasty restaurant! I mean nasty! I ordered a cup of coffee Then told young server I couldn't stay there due to smell of grease and she was extremely rude! Walked out saying I'm sorry I can't eat here this is nasty! Someone needs to get corporate in this store to check out how filthy it is before you get somebody sick! Be warned I would never go here ever"

"I went twice so let me start when I treated my hubby . As soon as you get you're greeted with a smile and a hello . Loved it . Started with drinks and food came very fast . The food was hot and delicious. What I loved about this waitress she checked back on us and helped me pay my husband wanted to pay every thing at this visit pure 10. The next visit hubby took me once again greeted and smiles this time in the back and once again Great waitress her customer service was incredible. The food delicious and omg I enjoyed my 2 visits . Definitely will be back"

"The menu has been updated since my last visit and it's even better now! I really appreciate that you can order an omelette and also get flavored pancakes on the side. The variety of pancake options is so impressive, I want to try them all. We came here for a birthday party and based on the excellent service we received, I would happily return with my family and essentially eat for free. The staff is speedy and attentive, and the atmosphere still feels warm and inviting like a family restaurant."

"I have been eating at this IHOP with my friends and family since it opened. Friday, I witnessed something that I just can't put out of my mind. I am ashamed of myself for sitting there and allowing this to happen.There was this male waiter who was yelling at a waitress, my waitress. His behavior was out of control. He was following her around, yelling and cussing at her. It was ridiculous. I don't know where the manager was, but something needed to be done. I am ashamed that I did not intervene. This waitress kept trying to walk away from him and he kept aggressively pursuing her. This gal was doing her best to do her job, and was even trying to help the other servers by cleaning tables, not just her own, so that customers could be seated. This waiter wouldn't let up. He kept pursuing her and causing a very uncomfortable scene.I have had this waitress several times previously. She is always friendly, hard working, and does a great job. No matter what he may have been upset about, she did not deserve the wrath he was subjecting her (and the rest of us) to.Eating out these days is expensive and people want to relax and enjoy the experience, even if it's just pancakes. We do not want to spend our hard earned money in a place where the workers are screaming at their coworkers.It will be a while before I choose to visit this IHOP again, but if I do, I will REFUSE to have this abusive, poor excuse for a man as my server! And I will NOT be a bystander in this again. Next time, I will call the police AND I will walk back to the kitchen and find the manager myself to come out and get his employee under control.The two stars goes to the waitress...actually, she gets 5 stars, but that abusive, stalking, maniac gets negative stars and, in my not-so humble opinion, he should be fired. My apologies to my waitress for my part in just sitting there and allowing it to happen. Clearly, someone should have done something. I don't remember the waiter's name. I believe it began with a J...Joe or John, maybe Jeff? Not sure, but in my mind his name begins with an A and ends in Hole!"

"As she went to place our order, another server brought out our food. Unfortunately, my hashbrowns were burnt, my husband’s sirloin tips were tough (he ordered them medium rare), my pancakes were plain and as hard as rocks, and everything was cold—clearly having sat out for a while. I informed both the cook and our waitress that we couldn’t eat the food because it was inedible. In a rather dismissive manner, I was told my food would be recooked, but I refused that option and just wanted to pay for our drinks instead. The waitress suggested I speak with a supervisor, but I declined because I figured that if a supervisor had been present, our meal wouldn’t have been such a disaster in the first place. Any reputable establishment would have let me leave without paying for anything, but I did offer to pay for our sweet teas, which came to $6.40. I gave her a $20 bill, but she left for about five minutes to get my change. When she returned, I received $13 back, meaning I lost over an hour of my life (getting my change at 7:10), almost got sick from the food that wasn’t at the right temperature, and was shorted $0.60. While I wouldn’t have minded the wait—especially since there was only one other table occupied—I noticed my husband could see the staff goofing off in the back. He even witnessed one person throwing our waitress over his shoulder. It felt like I was being viewed as rude simply because the service and food I was ready to pay for upon entering were unfit for even a dog. I don’t know what’s going on at this location, but I won’t be returning, even though I used to come here often with my mother for breakfast. The experience was absolutely terrible. One star feels generous for this iHop. After leaving, we went to the Waffle House down the road on Copperfield, where we enjoyed a delicious hot meal and outstanding service."

"the food was average. the amount of butter that she put on the pancake was unhealthy. the food was sent back to remove butter. the service was slow. the waitress seemed to be under the influence of something. her uniform and look was not satisfactory at all. she was seen three times to take our order, to give us our drinks and to give us the leak. There are no reviews in between. I would not return to this place. they also did not advise the additional cost to change from swarm to truthahn."

"We had a family reunion in Lindale this weekend and walked in with a party of 16. We only had to wait a few minutes for a table. The staff was using a crayon to write down names because they didn't have a pen, so we gave them one to make it easier. It was impressive to see all of them working hard to seat everyone and deliver food. We managed to sit together, and our waitress, whose name tag read "ROCK STAR," truly lived up to it! She took all our orders, delivered each plate perfectly, and was fantastic throughout our entire visit! We left a generous tip, but we also wanted to compliment her on her great service. Well done!"

"The worst experience, there were 4 orders at my table, a cockroach came out in the chicken and waffles plate and a white hair in the waffle, 2 of the dishes were chicken and waffles, the 2 of the 2 chicken orders were dry and overcooked or they were already over fried, we stopped eating immediately notify my waiter and he just said oh sorry and brought me my receipt. I paid the total, but I did not receive a replacement meal or any apology from the manager on duty. I do not intend to return to that place."

"I've attached a photo as evidence of how drenched in butter the entire plate was. How can this dish be labeled as heart-healthy when everything is prepared with and smothered in butter? If I had known, I might have opted for one of those new biscuit sandwiches instead, as my friend ordered one and it looked delicious. It's disappointing to see the harvest grain pancakes gone, and now this. Regarding vegetarian options: when everything is cooked in butter, I'm left wondering just how vegetarian the choices really are."

"I really enjoy the seasonal specials at this restaurant. For breakfast, I ordered the egg, hashbrowns, and caramel a la mode pancakes, along with a caramel macchiato coffee. While everything was delicious, I wouldn't necessarily recommend the caramel macchiato as it tasted a bit watered down and a regular coffee would have been better. The restaurant was decorated for Halloween and although there was a bit of a wait, it was expected due to how busy it was, especially for a Monday morning."

"The spinach omelet that came had nearly a quarter cup of free grease/oil oozing from it and had to be rejected. This was probably due to the lack of cooks that lead to nearly an hour long wait despite there being 50% open seats. It appeares that they had a waitress for every seat, meaning that there was an over abundance of wait staff for the number of people seated. The waitress serving us that morning still seemed to make us feel as though we were a bother to her and that we should get our own food. Which I did. Our table didn't have a full complimentary set of syrup until we asked. My water wouldn't have been refilled unless I had asked. Overall it was a not a good experience and I feel I didn't come in with high expectations."

"This place used to be open 24 hours a day. Unfortunately do to the pandemic they stopped 24 hour service in my area . The pandemic problems are largely solved so I don't understand why they keep the pandemic era hours 6am to 12am. They should go back to the previous 24 hour service hours. Still a great place to eat, but I work overnight and in most cases they are closed when I get off of work. Before the problems of 2020 and the pandemic I would go to my local IHOP after work and eat sometimes that would be at around 3am. But I haven't been able to do that ever since they stopped offering 24 hour service hours like they did before the pandemic. I think now in 2022 almost 2023 they should go back to they pre pandemic hours and offer 24 hour service again. Thanks."

"The food was average, but the standout dish was the huge omelet filled with onions, steak, mushrooms, and peppers. The pancakes and French toast were delicious. However, my chicken patty dish was disappointing as the patties were hard to chew and the potatoes lacked flavor. The lemonade tea was very enjoyable. The restaurant seemed understaffed when we visited on a weeknight, with only one server who didn't seem very happy. It's understandable given the circumstances."

"After many many chances of trying to have a DECENT experience eating here… they just cannot seem to do anything right. Employees don’t even seem to be in uniform, never seems to be remotely cleaned. (Tables filthy, chairs etc) and do not trust their eggs or anything from there. I don’t know who hires these employees but this place should be out of business. "So, ALL of the tables were filthy with dishes all over them (after we were seated, someone did go around cleaning up though). This means they had to seat us right up against the only other group that was in there at the time. Those people asked to move, for which I was thankful cuz it was awkward. Our waitress may have been nice, but I couldn't understand her since she didn't compensate for the mask that was clinging to her face so bad it muffled every word, so she also may have been rude, I have no way of knowing. We didn't get our pop (only one person got coffee) until the food came and we asked for our pop. The chicken tenders were REALLY good. Idk what was in that breading but it was delicious!! The fries were OK, the onion rings were pretty good too. My daughter loved the pancake sundae and my hubby liked his burger."

"The website and app both clearly indicated that they offered curbside delivery, and there were designated curbside parking spots as well. However, after waiting for 15 minutes, I called but got no response (it seemed they were quite busy based on the parking lot). I called again, and eventually, they brought my food out, but they informed me that they no longer provide curbside service. Since I have a broken ankle, I was disappointed to learn that in the future, I'll have to go inside to pick up my orders."

"At first before receiving my food, I had given 5 stars (but since picking up my food, I have changed my rating to 2 stars) After arriving to pick up my meal for curb side, had to wait an additional 20 min pass the exped time of pick up. Then after getting home the food did not look well prepared, and was cold. Then when calling to register this concern the person who answered the call, did not identify the business, but just said yes. I have been going to this location since they opened and have never received food that looked like what mines did, nor when calling, was the person unprofessional. I enjoy this location, and hope they get it together."
