IHOP - Menu

Compared to all I've ever experienced, this IHOP branch is very different. The waitress showed little interest in us (6 people). The service was not to our taste. The table we had wasn’t that clean. She did a great job of ignoring us when we tried to call despite that her supervisor informed her in front of us but she kept ignoring us. I had to leave a $0 tip for the first time.

The restaurant wasn't very crowded, and the food was quite good, but the real standout was the exceptional customer service. Ashley, in particular, was incredibly friendly and accommodating. She even rushed outside in the freezing cold to return my card deck that I had left behind. The rest of the staff were also friendly, but I had the pleasure of interacting with Ashley the most. I find myself going there nearly every week. I would rate it a perfect 10/10!

Earlier today, about late morning, there was a male server who was completely and unacceptably rude to the female server. Not only was he yelling at her, but he was acting like he was going to hit her!!! He also tried to accuse her of throwing money at him when i simply saw her put it on the table and just kept following her and yelling around the store. The male server was being very aggressive and rude and I couldn’t help but feel bad for the sweet server lady. Terrible service! I placed my order and called to let them know when I would arrive, but no one answered. I heard the same greeting over and over again. After multiple attempts, I decided it would be quicker to go in person, but that turned out to be a mistake. All the employees were hanging out in the back, and I couldn't get anyone's attention, even though the restaurant was not busy at all. I was left waiting endlessly. This isn't the first time I've experienced poor service here, but my daughter was craving IHOP, so I thought I would give it another chance. Big mistake! One of us thought that IHOP is a decent place for breakfast, with a wide variety of items on the menu to choose from. They appreciated the large omelette, filled with bacon, cheese, and tomatoes. The service was excellent, with the waiter memorizing our orders perfectly. However, they felt that IHOP may not stand out among other chain breakfast restaurants. Another member of the group felt that IHOP is underrated and does a good job despite being busy. Their simple breakfast of eggs, bacon, and toast was cooked perfectly. I ordered the Nutty pancakes, BLT, and fries. Despite the late hour, the restaurant was busier than expected but I was seated immediately. The place was clean, with no trash on the floor and cleared-off tables. The waiter was friendly and my order arrived in less than 10 minutes. The BLT had crispy bacon, though I wished there was more lettuce. The Nutty pancakes were delicious with a unique flavor, but I was surprised to receive only one pat of butter on top without any extra provided. Overall, the food was good. I ordered the Bacon 'N Beef Bacon Egg Cheeseburger, which was a thick, juicy burger made with Bacon 'N Beef and topped with Cheddar cheese, crispy bacon, and a medium-cooked egg. It was served on a grilled bun with lettuce, tomato, and red onion, along with a side of fries. The wait time was about 10 minutes, as the restaurant was quite busy around 11:15 am. The burger exceeded my expectations, as I was expecting a typical fast food hamburger but received a well-presented and tall burger. We really like IHOP and this one was really good. We had the griddle combos. My husband and I had French toast with strawberries and bananas. 2 eggs, sausage links and hash browns. The French toast was at least an inch thick and perfectly cooked. The eggs were really good too. They were perfectly cooked with the right amount of salt. The sausage was also cooked well. I have been eating at this IHOP with my friends and family since it opened. Friday, I witnessed something that I just can't put out of my mind. I am ashamed of myself for sitting there and allowing this to happen.There was this male waiter who was yelling at a waitress, my waitress. His behavior was out of control.
