"I tried to remain patient, but a woman who finally received her order during our wait looked at us as she left and said, "Enjoy the wait," clearly frustrated herself. After another 10 minutes with no sign of our food, I returned to the counter, where the same lady asked if we had received our order yet—of course, we had not. She then went to inquire with the kitchen about our customized burgers (patty melts with bacon and grilled jalapeños). One of the cooks mentioned that she had made them quite some time ago, and then I heard her say, "Oh, I found them." You would think that would be the end of it, but no. I then saw her go to make the onion rings since they had none prepared, even though our burgers had been sitting there getting cold.
Finally, about 7-8 minutes later, we received our food—over 40 minutes after placing our order—while everyone who had ordered after us had already been served and left. This location seems to lack any semblance of organization or quality control. It was my first visit, and it will definitely be my last. While the gentleman who handed us our food did apologize and they offered us two free apple pies, it didn’t change the fact that my experience at this Whataburger was dismal. If you choose to go to this location, proceed with caution."
