"I suppose if you're willing to pay $13 for a sub-par hamburger, then this review isn't going to mean much to you. On a Sunday afternoon, I went into jams for the first time. I have heard so much hype about it that I wanted to try it for myself. I found it surprisingly dead at that time of day, which is unusual because the parking lot is always filled for this place. I sat at the bar and ordered a soda. what kind of restaurant doesn't have soda on phone? So you get a can of Diet Coke. Later, when I got the bill, I about fell out of my chair when I was charged $2.95 for a can of Diet Coke. Then, I ordered the Jams hamburger with balsamic onions and bacon. It was a good size hamburger, and the bun was good. I asked for pickles and lettuce and tomato on my hamburger. Again, what kind of please that tell it's their hamburgers doesn't have sliced hamburger pickles? As a matter of fact, for $13, they should hand make their own pickles. But I got some sort of food service deli spears. I have to say that the veggie slaw was very good. The hamburger, on the other hand, was very bland. Expected a good amount of the balsamic onions, and I got what probably equated to a tablespoon. The bacon also was subpar. Then, just to top it off, the bartender who was serving me was completely distracted by her friends at the end of the bar and never once returned to see what I needed. There were three managers at the other end of the bar complaining about this and that, which just kind of brought everything into focus for me. This is a trendy restaurant, with exhorbitant prices, for people who have nothing better to do than to spend too much money for mediocre food and drinks."

"I went 5 minutes with no drink with my mouth on fire while my waiter threw himself through the silver doors to kitchen followed by a round of applause and laughter. He did this 4 times until he finally heard my raised voice and my finger pointing at him. He refilled my drink. I told him I would need another quickly. His Manager started taking care of our table. When I told no guacamole, he said oh, we'll put it on the side. I said put it on my wife's plate. He said no, on the side. I finally raised my voice and told him not to put guacamole anywhere on my plate. He delivered our meals. My wife had ordered Xtra sour cream and got a good size dish. I got a teaspoon on top of shredded lettuce. I asked for extra sour cream. He said you have some there on your plate. I said that will not be enough. He pointed at my wife's bowl. I said, that is for her dinner. With the Manager came up to hear the waiter inform me Sour Cream is not free. She asked is there a problem? I said yes, this young man says I have plenty of sour cream and it isn't free. I want more sour cream for my fajitas. From that point she took over. My bill. From what I can figure my bill should have been $49. It was $58 but I was not allowed a detailed receipt. I left a $10 tip for the Manager. You have been our favorite Mexican restaurant for somewhere near 9 years. We come from Anderson to eat there. We will be finding a new Mexican Restaurant."
