"I can’t believe I have never given this outstanding restaurant a review. We eat here frequently. The service tonight as every time we have eaten here was outstanding! The food is the best and I have actually been to Puerto Vallarta. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming! The prices lower than expected. $45 for 2 dinners and drinks. I had a large draft and my son a soda. Chips and salsa were included. We added queso.also you have to try the homemade hot sauce!! The flavor is delicious but be warned it’s called hot for a reason. I will try to remember to get some photos on our next visit! Until then do not pass by this hidden gem!"

"Food had NO Flavor. It looked like it came out of the microwave. I hadn't had a drink in 2 months and was worried about having a Margarita. I ordered a jumbo and it had NO effect on me. No alcohol! Looked at my wife across the table and she said her food had no flavor either and no alcohol in her drink!! Big contrast from the El Vaquero on Secor. Food is fantastic there and one Jumbo is is enough!! Pretty disappointed to say the least."

"This is the Best, freshest Mexican food I've eaten in Palo Alto, Peninsula and South Bay. Definitely underrated! I've been to many restaurants and Lulu's is by far the best. After eating this you can feel your body energized with excellent nutrition. I can't believe how many people give poor reviews that have absolutely nothing to do with the quality of food nor the customer service. I been to this place about a dozen times and every time I visit, Always consistent, fresh and delicious. Erica and the crew are always welcoming and friendly. I worked in the restaurant industry for 25+ years and the service is always impeccable. ? I came in today to buy food for my family whom my sister is at Stanford ICU and Erica was truly compassionate about my sister's well being. I wish there was more people like Erica who love what they do and show care for others in the world. I want to express my gratitude to all of the team and Erica for showing love to my family and delivering the quality of food they produce to keep us healthy. I'll be forever customer for now on! "I ordered the Chile Colorado through DoorDash, and it was incredibly delicious—full of flavor and perfectly spiced. When I added the meal to my cart in the app, I noticed an option to get extra chips or salsa for an additional $2-$2.50. I opted not to choose that because I assumed "extra" meant that chips would be included, as is typically the case. Unfortunately, when my order arrived, there were no chips at all, which was a bit disappointing. I think it’s important for customers to know they should select the extra chips and salsa to complete their meal, as the dish really benefits from them. Other than that, everything was fantastic, and my daughter loved her burrito!"

"Great location, very good service and thats where it ends. The margaritas are so bitter you can’t taste the alcohol, even when you ask for hi-end spirits you can’t get past the bitter mix. Margaritas are easy Easy, tequila, fresh squeezed juice, simple syrup, an orange flavored liquor, weather it’s triple sec, Cointreau or Grand Marnier. Add the salt, it’s pretty simple. “Rib Eye” Fajita? It was so overcooked and salty. The vegetable were overcooked but accountable compared to the “ribeye”. The taco salad was average. Price extra for chips and salsa...."

"Got the agave margarita. For a gal that doesn’t like a strong drink, it didn’t taste strong but it was . The enchilada verde was YUM. They recommended with the shredded beef and I really enjoyed it. "We have eaten at this restaurant many times and it has been good. The time before tonight was so so, but they were really busy. Tonight they were busy as well. I ordered the “new” bowl salad with chicken. The salad was sparse, but okay until I realized there was at a minimum 1/4 cup of water in the bottom of the bowl. I sent it back but it was still on the bill. I mentioned it to the cashier and she wan nice and said I’ll take that off. I thanked her, but when she told me the price it was 20% off of the salad not the full amount. I could have asked for a manager, but didn’t. Just don’t order the bowl salad."

"This place is a whole vibe!!! The outside patio is very cute, perfect for a date night or girls day drinking. Whew but I loved it. My husband and daughter had a great time. We started with some margaritas and the special of the day ceviche it was delicious. My husband had Ropa vieja and I had the Cochinita Pibil. My daughter had the cheeseburger sliders. We also had a side of rice and beans, Elote and dessert. We tried the cookie skillet with ice cream, churros and tres leche. The service was great thanks to Jayden (not sure how to spell his name) and the food was phenomenal. We will definitely will return!!!"

"I met my coworkers for the first time as we were coming up from Camp Pendleton. They suggested this establishment and we were excited to give it a try. I ordered the steak sandwich, medium RARE!!!!. The fries were on point, but the steak came out literally a little past well done. I didn't want to send it back, but after trying to get through the beef jerky, I finally asked the waitress to take a look. They asked me if they could make it again. By that time everyone in my party was done with their food so I asked for it to go, in a box. The second sandwich was just as bad as the first. My advice.......don't order a steak sandwich from a Mexican Restaurant!!!! This is advertised as a Ribeye sandwich......not even close. Please see the photos and let me know what you think! Terrible because my coworkers' food looked great!!!!!"

"This was our first time at this restaurant, recommended by my cousin. The food was excellent. My mom enjoyed her grilled shrimp (medium size for all you shrimp lovers) with mushrooms and rice. "Finally I found a place where I really enjoyed the food. The nachos were on point; for a family of five, you might want 2. Ours could had usrf a tad more sour cream and cheese, nothing you can't order extra of : . Tasty food, compliments to the chiefs, and who made the recipes. The staff is friendly and nice. It's a clean establishment; don't let the whole hole in the wall; turn you away. I'll need a few more visits before I can give this place a 5, but I'd definitely try it at least once. So far, it's definitely the best I've had locally that I've come across."

"Salas Urban Cantina is located on the east side of town. They have a large parking lot that offer a good amount of space for bigger vehicles or even RVs and Campers. The experience was unsatisfactory. To begin the waiter was very "lost in his thoughts "was very distracted with other employees through sidebar conversations barley came to our table to check on us. We ordered ourfood and I ordered a margarita. The margarita was terrible. it tasted stale limeade, so i did not order a second. The food wascooked wrong. the rice was very brittle, the beans were too salty and the cheese that was melted over the food was so meltedthat it had hardened and was not enjoyable. I personally will not comeback as it was not a good experience."

"My husband and I have been dining at this restaurant for about 20 years now! We enjoy going on Saturday evenings for an early dinner around 5:00. There is never a wait for a table. While the prices have recently gone up slightly, most full dinners are still under $8.50. They have a full bar, seating available both inside and outside, and their takeout service is quick with food that is nearly identical to what is on the regular menu. I particularly enjoy their Chile Rellenos. They are willing to substitute beans for rice and accommodate special requests. Isidro is a wonderful waiter, and the rest of the staff is also very polite and efficient. They have a sign indicating no outside food is allowed on the premises. The restaurant is spacious and popular among families, as well as a gathering spot for college students. The decor is a bit old-fashioned with traditional booths and tables, but the atmosphere is cozy and not too noisy for conversation. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed. The menu offers options for everyone and the food is delicious without being overly heavy."
