"Overall, the food was average. The burgers were large, however, you pay a premium for French fries. I would rather they just inflate the price and make French fries standard. The included item is potato chips. My mom and daughter had the burgers and said they were pretty good. I had the stuffed shrimp, which didn't have a lot of flavor. I could tell I was eating shrimp and crab, but there wasn't much flavor. The portion was four stuffed shrimp. However, the shrimp were of the medium variety that I would buy at my local market. They were ripped with a tablespoon size crab ball. I had to pay a premium for cheese on my potato. This dish was $29, which I was prepared to pay, but was disappointed when it came out. Or meal was $95 (including a 15% tip). I'd also like to add we all had water to drink. I think the bill was a tad too much when two people in my party had a burger. The best part was dining outside right at the water. I drove from central Virginia to dine there, and am not sure if do it again. Just so so."

"In the city , great location . First time here . There's a bit of hype about this place apparently .. Got a gift card from work , thought we'd check er out .. Parked out back , Marriott and The Keg are in same building. Dark spot walking in! Ambiance! Greeted nicely, asked to sit and wait for a brief moment. Sat in a booth , cozy and private. Good/classy atmosphere and great service. Started with a Heineken on tap , was flat ahhh but got a Belgian Moon and did the trick. We both got caesar salads with our main courses, and were served those first.. would be nice to have mild/medium/hot option for garlic meh.. then came warm/soft home loaf mmm with butter.. then a few minutes later came the onion soup $10) .. delicious bold flavours with sherry and beef broth. Ordered top sirloin medium steak $38) and New York Strip loin medium rare $44) . Both were tender and juicy, and came with mushrooms, green beans , and garlic mashed.. Paired with Jackson Triggs Proprietors Selection $7.5 had with top sirloin) , and Three Thieves cab sauv $10 with New York Strip loin) Server asked how we were doing every so often which was nice . Washrooms were clean and pretty neat how you can walk by the kitchen on the way . Big spot in general. Nice night out!"

"A sad shadow of its former self. After reopening, seemingly under new ownership and definitely under new management, this restaurant has gone way downhill. The food, when they have it, is still very good. But don’t sit down before they tell you what they don’t have. On a Friday evening they had no fish, no pate (keep in mind this is a French restaurant) and no green salad. How can a restaurant that has grocery stores within a couple blocks run out of green salad? They also have only a few very basic desserts. Again, a high end French restaurant should have the classic French desserts and one or two less common ones. Nope. All very sad considering how good the old Mistral under the prior owner had been. Maybe Park Slope just can’t support a nice French restaurant."
"Lucky to have had a great server as the lady who greeted was super hostile. The conversation went “hi I have a table reserved for outdoors”. Her reply “what are you going to be ordering a full meal or coffee and pastries?” There were of tables occupied outside. The latter I answered. “I do not know what you are talking about” was her replyOh. Um. Well the coffee and pastries please I clarified. “You will have to go inside then” she retorted. Oh...Open Table didn’t make that clear I said. Ok, we’ll order food then. She gruffly walked us to the darkest table there. Of course we asked for another. If I wasn’t entertaining a business contact I’d have walked out if I hadn’t experienced Laduree at it’s best on other occasions, I would strike it from my list. Please be more welcoming"

"The food is always excellent. Fresh ingredients, well prepared, with just the right amount of seasoning and sauces. Always a good variety, so if you're in the mood for meat, chicken, fish, or vegetables, there are many good choices. I have never had anything less than an excellent meal there, and I go there regularly. The service has always been very helpful and knowledgeable. They are extremely attentive. Your water glass will be refilled without needing to ask, and the delicious bread can always be refilled as well. The ambience is perfect, it's almost as though you are being transported to a sidewalk café in Paris. The cost is reasonable, and the owner, Ali always seems to be present and helpful, and there to make sure everything is perfectly run. Without a doubt the best place to go in Menlo Park."

"Imagined by the husband/wife team of Óscar and Bia Bosch, TANIT brings Spanish sensibilities to São Paulo from a man whose resume includes the likes of Hof van Cleve, El Celler de Can Roca and El Bulli. Opened in May of 2016 and earning a Michelin Star since Brazil’s inaugural guide, an elegant space bathed in natural light welcoming diners for lunch and dinner Tuesday through Sunday, it is once past the streetside patio and wood-paneled entrance that diners are seated, servers fluent in English happily assisting with the Portuguese menu. Part “tapas,” but also offering full-size plates amenable to any size party, many guests will be found sipping one of several unique Cocktails, Cachaca expectedly featured alongside other Spirits in concoctions such as “Spice Charum” with piquant Powder suspended above smooth Rum and Citrus. Not exactly fusion, but carefully adapting Catalonian tastes to the Brazilian palate, it was not long after opening that all seats were filed, a procession of plates beginning with fried Confit Duck and followed by Squid Ink Rice Crackers topped in Breaded Shrimp, Avocado and Hot Sauce. Cooking inside a surprisingly small kitchen, Chef Bosch on the line with his team throughout a ninety minute stay, it was in succession that plates three and four arrived, TANIT’s Salt Cod dazzling when dipped in gingered Sauce while fried Potato rounds saw traditional Patatas Bravas upgraded by Chorizo Ragu. Gifted two Tuna Cones prior to Dessert, the same Ginger Aioli offered alongside Bosch’s Bunuelos here lending the Tartare an Asian accent, it was on the server’s recommendation that sweets started with Chocolate, a plate titled “Gianduja” offering a deconstructed idea of Italy’s famous Spread with the Hazelnut Pastry and thick Ganache particularly noteworthy. Finishing strong, Óscar’s time with Jordi Roca and Albert Adria clearly evidenced by Desserts that succeed despite limited sweetness thanks to balanced textures, flavors and temperature, it would be a mistake to pass on either “Milho” or “Torrija,” the former a feather-light taste of Summer until spoon meets Ice Cream while the fried French Toast is heavier but equally impressive as concentrated Sherry plays off Peanuts and Coffee."

"The food at Bagatelle often gets overlooked for the atmosphere, but it absolutely shouldn 't. This little gem in the Meatpacking District serves some of the strongest French dishes I 've yet to try, and as the latest revamp of the menu for Spring should not be missed. From the starters, I have to recommend the signature Black Truffle Pizza (flatbread topped with creme fraiche, mozzarella, and black truffle shavings) as well as the pillow y Truffle Gnocchi, which are made from a homemade choux pastry and coated in a creamy truffle and Parmesan sauce. For those looking for a lighter starter, the Beet Salad, Beef Tartare, and King Crab Salad are strong alternatives. And when it comes to the mains, I absolutely loved the Lobster Linguini, which is impressively presented with a whole lobster and a generous amount of linguini pasta coated in a 'secret sauce ' which had plenty of tomato and lobster flavor. And the simple but elegant Chicken, served with country potatoes and mushrooms (and a hint of truffles) was delicious as well the chicken was moist and flavorful, and paired perfectly with the sides. To finish, the restaurant now offers a smaller version of their signature Dessert Sundae, which is perfect for groups of 6 8; and if you ask nicely, the server will put in more than 1 sparkler so you get the perfect photo!"

"this is a wonderful little French bistro where eating is still the star and not a bit over price, how many other restaurants have become. it is not pretentious, it is no longer in love with itself than it patrons, it is simply perfect for what it is a beautiful restaurant where you eat very, very good. I have two suggestions for the owners, although: the brot is at best mediocre. a French bistro should have baguette quality bread. they can pay for it, but please do not cheap brot, it reduces the quality of everything that follows and second, get the entry. Right now, when someone comes in, a cold design fills the entire facility. but they're little things, if you weren't, you're gonna like one and go."

"I went with a group for a birthday. It was the worst service any of us had ever experienced. Our waiter only took a couple of drink orders and then left for more than 20 minutes before we checked in to take the rest of the table order. For the food we had to tell him that we had to order. Then he took 4 orders, went away and didn't come back. When we got him to come back after telling several other workers we needed to complete the order, he forgot that he had taken the first orders. He finally took a few more orders and went, again not to every person at the table. It took 2 hours in total and the food came out at all different times. We were all honestly very confused about what was happening throughout our dinner."

"I went to this restaurant with a group to celebrate a birthday, and we were extremely disappointed with the service. Our waiter only took a few drink orders before disappearing for over 20 minutes. We had to remind him to take the rest of our table's order. When it came time to order our food, we had to flag him down to take our orders. He then took 4 orders and disappeared without returning. After several attempts to get him back to complete the order, he forgot the initial orders he had taken. Eventually, he took a few more orders, not getting to everyone at the table. The whole dining experience took 2 hours, and the food came out at different times. We were all left feeling confused and frustrated throughout our meal."

"This was my first visit to Jean Claude 2, recommended by one of our company of three who has been there often. The restaurant is charming, really beautiful in the sense that you could imagine that you're dining in a French bistro. The food was great. I had the gazpacho which, while strangely beet colored, was delicious. The bread brought to the table gratis is excellent. My friends both had the beet salad which they clearly thoroughly enjoyed. I had the very best Salade Niçoise I believe I've ever had, the tuna seared to perfection, the anchovies thick and flavorful perfection. We hared a half carafe of the Chardonnay of our choice."

"This was a very mixed experience for our recent dinner. Service was welcoming and professional, but the food was hit or miss. The squid appetizer with Moroccan spices was fine, but a little heavy on the butter and the lettuce served with it just wilted under the heat. My wife's duck breast was well-cooked and flavorful. But the big letdown was the moules frites. The mussels themselves were completely flavorless, while the sauce was a disaster of harshly acidic uncooked wine, raw garlic, raw onio … – show"

"Oh my. I'm hunkered down in upstate NY. I miss the drunken boat. I'm at least a 10 year veteran and there were times when I was lunching at this restaurant close to every week. You always saved the corner table for me. Great food, wonderful staff and chef, and an atmosphere that is unmatched anywhere I've been in half a century. A small space where one could savor life for an hour or so. It must be so hard for all the staff that has cycled through this restaurant over the years; we wish all of you the strength to get through to the other side of this crazy time. Here's to a flute of sparkling rose, to the wonderful French Onion Soup, to six Bluepoint Oysters for my friend Stuie, or a Confit de Canard or roasted chicken with root vegetables if you are really hungry. Chef Hebert, hoping you and family are safe. Youen, Atman, Tatiana, Natalia, Chris, Samuel, Gamzai, Julian, Radda, Charlotte, Pobanna, Katia, Julia, Marguan, Eric, and the warm and smiling Nina-who I will never forget: thank you all for your service over the years, wishing you all the joy of a life well spent and hoping you are all getting through this with your finances intact. Thank you for some very fun times. Diners: If you are in NYC, think of throwing this restaurant some business. It is one worth preserving for when we come out the other side."

"I went to the restaurant late on a Friday night and it wasn't crowded. The decor was lovely, but the service was just okay and not very attentive given the price. The food was good, but not exceptional. The duck was a bit too salty for my taste. Despite these small issues, I would be willing to give it another try."
