"My apologies to the cashier, who I lied to after lunch today when asked how the food was. I had read some reviews before visiting and they were not very good, but with limited options on a Sunday afternoon I figured what the heck and I should’ve known better.. First impressions were not good as I was met with a very dark dining room, highlighted by different colored ceiling lights that were mismatched and had just a very dingy vibe. Chicken croquettes were served lukewarm and needed to go back to be heated in the microwave, and brussels sprouts were cold and were replaced with a salad. I Asked the waitress if the meatball sub or the chicken Parm sandwich was better and she recommended the chicken Parm. This too was warm, not hot, and really just average and something I could’ve made at home for $3. With maybe a dozen other guests in the restaurant at this time, I was surprised that so little attention was given to our food. After visiting the nearby state park, I discovered there were a whole bunch of fast food options on the other side of the highway, and after spending $30 for a very mediocre lunch here, I was wishing I had gone with the fast food options instead."
