"I recently placed a catering order with Panera Bread in Queensbury, NY, and I had a wonderful experience. The website was user-friendly, and Joanne was quick to respond to all of my follow-up calls. On the day of the event, Joanne arrived early to make sure everything was on schedule. The order was complete and nicely packaged, with everything kept on ice, along with plenty of utensils, cups, and plates. The food was delicious, and the delivery was exceptionally well-organized!"

"Ordered 2 of the new Mac and cheese sandwiches. When they called my name i could barely hear them and someone else walked up so I assumed it was their order and continued waiting. You cannot see the order pick up area from most of the tables. A while later a very cranky employee came up and ordered us to go get our food which was now stone cold. I explained my confusion and they dismissed me and said it's been waiting for you it shouldn't be our job to deliver it to your table.... ok that's fine but would it kill you to call the name out again if the wrong person comes for it and it's sitting there a few min later? Ate our cold sandwiches and left, it's been 2 or so years since I've gone to Panerai and I'm starting to remember why."

"The cashier and other staff working that I interacted with were all friendly and helpful even though I came in at the end of the night. It was my first time visiting this restaurant and the young woman taking my order was patient, helpful and more than willing to offer suggestions on what I might enjoy based on the tastes I told her I had. She even gave me samples of soups to try and a glass of water while I waited for my food. It was nice to see a restaurant chain like this that didn't slack on their service just because they were working on their closing routines as well as still accepting customers. As a former waitress I know what it's like to strike the proper balance to give superb customer service as well as complete your night duties in a timely manner. The food is delicious, I ordered the broccoli and cheese soup and a chai latte. I can't wait to come back and try some of their salad items. The ONLY reason they will not get five stars or even FOUR stars from me is because they are using too many plastic products still for their to go products and food packaging. It's unconscionable. There are too many alternatives in the manufacturing industry now for these large food corporations to not be leading the charge in making America plastic free. There's really no excuse for this anymore. I hope that Panera managers and owners take this to heart and make the necessary and imperative changes. Every business counts!"

"I had a more enjoyable experience when I ordered in person rather than using their app. The chai was a bit too sweet for my liking and had an overwhelming vanilla flavor. On the other hand, the bagels are fantastic! The breakfast sandwich with turkey, egg, avocado, and other ingredients on a whole bagel was excellent, but that's just my personal taste. The staff is always very friendly and helpful, though some customers can be quite rude. I witnessed one customer shouting at an employee, blaming Biden for the fact that her unlimited refill coffee now costs $2. It's important to consider the workers in these situations."

"I always go to Panera for lunch and dinner. And I always enjoy my food. But I did order a catering order for about 20 people. I was so impressed by my catering order. It was excellent. Very generous portions everything was hot tasted wonderful they just did a really really great job I was so appreciative considering everyone is understaffed right now and they were very busy. The food is great the staff is always wonderful I can’t say enough good things about my catering. If you’re having a party definitely get catering by Panera I got the soup salad and a bunch of sandwiches it was amazing."

"Terrible service! I highly discourage ordering from here. This is the second time I've placed a pickup order and they consistently forget items! I attempted to call for a refund or to have the missing food delivered, but they kept me on hold for 15 minutes. I ended up hanging up and tried to call back, but no one answered. "Thanks for being unresponsive to phone calls, for not providing any notice that you planned to deliver my order 20 minutes late, for absolutely disrupting the flow of my event and the resulting delay in all aspects of the day by 30+ minutes. Thanks for pushing decent mom and pop caterers out of business leaving one subpar, soulless corporate husk of a company to provide a mediocre meal at a premium price. Thank you very much, I am sure to think twice before ordering $600 worth of catering in the future no need to worry though the options open to me for breakfast are very limited, so I’ll probably have to settle for your lax customer service, casual attitude towards significant mistakes on your part and bland, boring breakfast offerings. Thanks Panera, you’ve made my morning much much worse."

"I have been here quite a few times and have enjoyed myself each time. all but once, i was seated in the room toward the kitchen. it is usually pretty crowded when i visit (usually weekend brunch) but it has never been this loud in the area i was seated in. i could barely have a convo with my friend because we couldn’t hear each other speak nor was i interested in yelling to the person sitting next to me. i attributed the extra loud noise on the acoustics of the room we were in and it wasn’t a terrible inconvenience. i’m just glad i wasn’t on an actual date lol i think i may request to be seated outside of that room next time if it’s as loud as it was this last time. otherwise, the service and the food was good as usual!"

"So I heard of this place and finally checked it out. It's a hole in the wall on need of severe remodel BUT the staff was courteous, service fast and the food was amazing and decent priced. Way better then cracker barrel, IHOP and waffle house. They have a big menu for breakfast so for that 5stars. I would say if your hungry for breakfast this is the best place to go....the coffee isn't terrible but needs work Two people $27 well worth it"

"I was let down by the portion size of my meal. I have to confess, it had been a while since my last visit to Panera, and I was really excited to try the warm Mediterranean bowl I ordered. However, when I got home and opened it, I discovered that the portion was barely enough to satisfy an 8-year-old. Considering the high prices, I expected a lot more. "An absolute joke. Avoid avoid avoid. Employees yelling at each other. Employees yelling at customers. They 've run out of everything when you order. When we finally did find a sandwich they could make, after waiting for 15 minutes, the sandwich makers said they never got the order. Then they told us they didn 't have all the ingredients for THAT sandwich so we took what we could take and left. It 's chaos in this place, I don 't understand how they are still open. We were patient and quiet but there were two arguments between angry customers and employees in the 20 minutes we were in there. Insanity."

"My experience at the restaurant was disappointing due to poor service. Many employees were gathered, chatting with off-duty staff, which created distractions. I ordered soup but didn’t receive any spoons. I overheard the kitchen staff mention multiple times that they were forgetting items as our table was near the prep area. At one point, an employee was asked to help out because there were six orders piling up, yet he switched from sweeping the floor and cleaning tables directly to preparing food without washing his hands. One customer waited for ten minutes before asking about her meal, only to be told it had been sitting on a back table and never made it to the pickup shelf. The soup was acceptable, but the grilled cheese was burned and inedible. The baguettes were so hard they felt like rocks."

"Panera appears to employ individuals who may not meet high standards, and it seems they focus on providing minimal offerings. Ten years ago, the food was decent, but now the selection has dwindled to just three or four types of bagels, which hardly seems like a positive aspect of the restaurant. Their cream cheese options are limited to two varieties, and that’s just for breakfast. As for lunch, it feels like a poor investment, unless you happen to be a 65-year-old woman. I really think it would be better to close down Panera and replace it with a place that genuinely cares about customer preferences."

"Consistently incompetent service at this restaurant. On 11/2/22, the manager watched as employees struggled and fell behind, without bothering to address guests or apologize. The cashier was rude, telling others to shut up and eating around customer's food, with no kindness or smiles towards customers. There was a 1-hour wait for food, despite the app promising a shorter time. The lack of pride and quality was evident throughout. I have decided to switch from weekly visits to monthly, and may even try quarterly before quitting. Be cautious of vegetarian options as I found meat in my Greek salad."
