"We had a burger, omelette, chicken club sandwich and some tater tots. All were very good except for the chicken club which consisted of a very thin piece of chicken. In some spots it was much thinner than a piece of bread, so it seemed more like avegetarian club sandwich. Most college students might find their prices a little high for their budget, so pay attention."

"We had a wonderful Pre Fixe New Years Eve dinner at Osteria Fasulo. This was our first visit and we will return in the future. Our server Massimo was very attentive and helpful in introducing us to the dishes. The Northern Italian dishes were new to us and delicious. The Fungi salad was a taste bud opening starter. We had two pasta dishes the ravioli filled with taleggio cheese was slightly sweetened with pomegranate butter, and the agnolotti was filled with a savory mix of vegetables and ricotta topped with a veggie glaze. Fabulous. Hopefully the traditional Cotechino (a soft sausage) and lentil dish will bring us luck this year. The medium rare rack of lamb with a pistachio sauce and the halibut with roasted fennel in a saffron broth were well prepared and very good. For us the olives in the saffron broth hid some of the flavor of the broth. But the halibut alone was still flavorful. We choose the Panna Cotta and Crespelle (crepes) for dessert. Both were light and delicious. We ended with an airy Merrengue with strawberry sauce. It was a delightful dinner and we headed home well satisfied."

"I usually go for the "Over Rice" dish, which includes your choice of tofu or meat paired with vegetables for just $4.95; shrimp is available for a dollar more, plus tax. The food is consistently fresh. I typically grab a fountain drink from their self-service station, just like at fast food restaurants, and I still leave under $10. The restaurant caters to UC Davis students and others by staying open late—midnight from Sunday to Wednesday and until 3 AM from Thursday to Saturday. The owner and staff have always been friendly and helpful. Plus, they offer free Wi-Fi and several flat-screen TVs that usually show sporting events. Even on busy nights, I can often find parking right outside, as many students prefer to bike, walk, or take cabs. I actually met one of my best friends at Open Rice, as we affectionately call it. It has a social vibe, and I highly recommend it to anyone in the Yolo County area."

"Very nice, picturesque little restaurant in Downtown Davis. Exceptional food with exceptional presentation and service. We had perfectly paired the cheese plate with wine from our server proposal. It had the perfect combination of ivory and sweet. My daughter had Veggie Pesto Pasta (here Favorit) and I had the scallops over Risotto. The scallops were perfectly prepared. Nice night in Davis to sit on one of their outdoor tables with my daughter puppies. The owners even gave the dog something delicious. I highly recommend it!"

"The pasta was flavorless and greasy, and it seemed overcooked. The spaghetti carbonara had crispy, dry noodles that were drenched in oil from the bacon. The fettucine arrostiti did not have a great taste, especially after I paid an extra $10 for prawns, making the dish alone $30. The portion size was small and not worth the price for delivery; perhaps it would be better in-store. I did not receive any of the sauces for the calamari fritti, but it was okay. Additionally, the extra piece of bread I ordered was missing. I would not order online from this restaurant again."

"I looked through the reviews to see if anyone else had similar experiences to mine, but I didn't find any. I've been coming here for years and really enjoy the food. I usually visit during lunchtime, and I have one recurring issue: the staff members have absolutely no personality. I try to be friendly, but I just get blank stares in return. When I attempt to thank them for their service, there's no response. Maybe I'm being overly sensitive, but I believe that the quality of service is just as important as the food being served. I suppose I'll just keep my thoughts to myself."

"Wicked Wilderness Pub in Davis is an absolute must visit! I was immediately drawn in by the specials board featuring Crab Bombs and Peach Cobbler. The Crab Bombs were an unexpected delight – a perfect blend of crispy exterior and flavorful crab cake interior, wrapped up in a deep fried ball. Our first night, I couldn't resist the Boom Boom Shrimp Tacos. The sauce was a fantastic blend of flavors with a subtle smoky kick. The tacos were packed with shrimp and toppings, leaving me full, but not too full for cobbler. Home baked with fresh peaches, covered with rum sauce and a scoop of vanilla ice cream wickedly delicious! On our second visit, the chicken pot pie was comfort food perfection. The rich, buttery sauce, rainbow of veggies and generous chunks of chicken made it a standout dish. The staff was friendly and made our dining experience even more enjoyable. They even let us know about a concert at one of the local horse stables on Saturday night! Both of my Long Island Iced Teas were tasty and perfectly poured. The pub's atmosphere is cozy and inviting. It is the perfect spot to relax and enjoy delicious food after an adventurous day in the mountains. Highly recommend!"

"I had this place bookmarked. And I was passing through Davis so I thought I would stop by. They also have a couple locations in the bay area, way closer to me. First off, they don't have a large sign above their shop nor are they listed on the sign for the shopping plaza they're located on. So I questioned if I was at the right place. And I circled around the parking lot looking for it before I just parked and searched for it. Not even a sign with their name on the window or door. Seems like they could put some kind of sign. I walked in and it wasn't very busy. One couple sat inside and there was plenty of seating. There was a little kiosk for self ordering. So I went for that. I just went simple and got the mango green tea. It's a $4.50 drink, added 50 cents for boba/topping. When I paid, it was almost $7. They ended up adding tax and a tip. The tip was added without me knowing. Maybe I clicked through too quickly, but it wasn't obvious. Usually there's an entire screen devoted to tipping with different percentages. But I did not see one. Crazy. I ordered through a kiosk and while they did make my drink, I think it's a little shady to add a tip automatically. The drink was fine. Nothing too amazing but good. Boba was also cooked well too. Was just annoyed by the payment process. They are also known for their desserts like shaved ice so I'll have to try those, maybe at a different location, paying super close attention when I pay."

"Long standing restaurant that serves decent rolls, sashimi, entrees and other Japanese cuisine. I eat there fairly often and the quality is hit or miss each time. Sometimes its delicious and super enjoyable, other times the sashimi is a complete gamble. Last time I ordered the tuna sashimi it was the toughest fish I've eaten that I can remember. They get their fish delivered from suhn fish mongers in Sacramento who supply lots of other sushi restaurants in Davis and Sacramento and have a retail location in Sacramento with amazing selection for reasonable prices. Mikunis prices may are high but the owner of the shopping center is known for asking absurd rents so I can't fault mikunis too much, that being said, charging $7 for sunomono is highway robbery. The staff is always either friendly or neutral but never rude or dismissive. The atmosphere is some weird crossover between frat house/sports bar/sushi restaurant. For more authentic Japanese cuisine I recommend Yuchan Shokudo right across the street on E st, limited sushi options but incredible dishes and much calmer vibe. Wheelchair accessibility: Good accessibility, the parking lot has 3 or 4 handicap spots with at least 2 dedicated areas for wheelchair ramps"

"This coffee chain location is quite remarkable. The staff is exceptionally friendly, and they make delightful heart-shaped foam designs on your coffee. The shop features a range of well-made products, and there’s a diverse selection of teas to choose from. However, I would prefer if they served coffee in real ceramic or porcelain mugs instead of disposable cups. The prices are fair, and the establishment is clean."

"Thanks to the packaging (no to go bag) and the fact that they filled our fries so full that I couldn 't close the box, our fries ended up on the floor of our car. That 's $5 wasted of my hard earned money. I don 't think there was any thought process whenpackaging was decided. Also disappointed that they were rude when they made my mom 's drink as a slush and not the smoothie thatshe order. A woman behind the counter rudely asked now what is wrong with that drink to the guy that was helping my mom whenshe took it back in. I now am even more disappointed that my drink as I got to the bottom sits here frozen as ice including myboba with zero flavor because my smoothie was made as a slush but was better blended than my mom 's slushed smoothie while herremade smoothie is creamy and full of flavor still. I would have had mine remade too if I 'd known. I 'm so disappointed because Iloved them the first time I found them and had them 2 weeks ago. The white ice is my drink and the pink is my mom 's drink, majordifference."

"I’ve been to all the Temple locations in Sacramento and thought I’d give the Davis location a try. There was a very long line on a late Saturday morning. I ordered my usual, The Enlightenment, for myself and a friend. The drink was decent but the hint of jasmine wasn’t as strong compared to other locations. I am not a sweet pastry person so opted for a butter croissant. Horrible decision. That was the worst croissant I’ve ever had in my life. It was stale and tasteless. You can get much better croissants at Costco or even Safeway. For $22 (after tip) for two drinks and a pastry, it is definitely on the pricier side."

"Having lived in SoCal for most of your life really fucks over your expectation of food. In LA, Ono's Hawaiian BBQ was a solid choice. In SD, Homestyle Hawaiian's was always a great pick. In Davis? Well, I had to give this place a shot. The first time I was here, I got their katsu and BBQ chicken matsubi. Overall good food and fair price so I thought I'd get something more next time. The second time I was here was when they just opened. The food smelled amazing and they already had a line. I got their BBQ chicken bowl and BBQ pork bowl. Overall, good food for a fair price. This isn't the best Hawaiian food I've ever had, but in the context of the Davis area, Tim's Hawaiian BBQ is a solid pick, and will definitely come back."

"I've been coming here since they opened and through their mini make over! So glad to have a great pho place in town.We usually get seated right away and service is quick ! Both our appetizers and soups come out within 5-10 mins regardless of how busy it is. I've picked up take out which is OK as it's soup so you are fighting elements. But still great as long as you properly re heat. Meat is always packed separate as are the veggies.Chicken or beef, never can have a wrong chose."

"I usually don?t leave reviews but this Ike?s was terrible. I wasn?t greeted at the door and the employees were really rude to me. The sandwich took 15+ minutes which is fine but they didn?t tell me it would be a wait. They didn?t ask for my name, so theydidn?t announce when my order was ready. I was waiting for however long until I realized they put my sandwich in the to-go area.They also let a customer behind the counter to check on her Oder which seems unsanitary in my opinion. Overall, rude employees.Never coming back!"

"Seriously amazing dishes, quality and quantity are superb. Yum!! Have always wanted to come in here. Great sushi alternative with a twist. Let her know we'd never been there before and they will let you sample, just ask I went with the poke bowl with the salmon bomb and spicy garlic shrimp island style. Also tried the California bomb which is very tasty as well. We ended getting a tempura wrap to go for later and I don't even have to try it, I know that it's delicious . Definitely recommend"

"Was there for the first time and had their chicken strips and waffle. The chicken strips were crunchy on the outside and tender and moist on the inside. The waffle was crispy and not soggy....was impressed! Their mimosas were also very worth it! The waitress was very nice and let my daughter and me share a bottomless order of mimosas....will definitely be back !!"

"The service was incredibly friendly and welcoming. I ordered several dishes, but I was a bit let down by the taco de papa. Instead of a fried taco filled with mashed potatoes and cheese, I received cubed potatoes served on two small tortillas. While the flavor was enjoyable, it wasn’t what I had anticipated based on the menu description. On a brighter note, the flan was delightful; it had a pleasant balance and wasn’t overly eggy, and the caramel sauce was just right. The interior of the restaurant was charming, adorned with various pictures, but with the temperature soaring to 106 outside and only a few fans running, I struggled to cool down and fully appreciate my meal. I will definitely give this place another try the next time I'm in Davis."
