"All around night of failing miserably. Really want to love this place but just didn’t hit the mark. First bottle of wine ordered took 20 minutes to get to the table. Server had to double check what wine we ordered because he couldn’t locate it. Then we witnessed them climbing to top of back bar to get it (white wine) and then try to chill it to get out to us. It arrived just colder than room temp but definitely not chilled. 2nd bottle ordered they were out of stock on. Replacement bottle server couldn’t find and had to verify again what we ordered. Wife order the fresh made warm focaccia. It was neither fresh nor warm. We later asked if replacement fresh bread was coming out and server said no because he was sure they didn’t have any that was different than what we got previously. Steaks were cooked perfectly all around but the add on mushrooms for $8 were shockingly not the same portion. Small steak had 1/2 the amount then the larger steaks. Same price? Ordered Bearnaise for my steak and it came out chilled and coagulated. Definitely not made the day of our visit. Shared sides were enough for 2 people maybe but not enough for 3 or 4 people to enjoy with other sides."

Wonderfully prepared steaks. Top notch on my rare NY Strip. Sides are decent. Definitely a steak place.

I wouldn’t recommend. EVER! Came for Valentine’s Dinner and it was a flop. Limited options, and out of luck if allergic to one of them. Then steak came and it was raw and nowhere close to medium. So basically had a $100 side dish. Oh wait…they gave it a 50% discount. So a $50 side dish. Spend your money elsewhere…you’ll be glad you did. Voir le carte

We chose to try the wine experience, which features three wine tastings paired with two expertly crafted small dishes. We sat at the bar, which we thoroughly enjoyed! The staff was knowledgeable, and the food was excellent. After our tasting, we opted for another glass of wine and decided to order something more to eat. It was a wonderful way to end the week!

To be honest, the food was disappointing and the service was terrible. My husband and I visited for the first time, and we had high hopes based on other reviews, but our experience fell short. Given the prices here, I would prefer to drive to Buckhead and enjoy a quality steak and better service. We have certainly crossed this place off our list and won't be coming back.

The Cattle Shed Wine and Steak Bar offers an intimate dining experience, especially cozy during Valentine's. The salads—wedge and Waldorf—kick off the meal with freshness and flavor. My red sangria proved a delightful accompaniment. Main courses, the filet with bourbon honey butter, and the bone-in Kansas City strip with truffle butter, were cooked to perfection. The truffle parmesan fries are a must-try side, rich and indulgent. Though we skipped dessert, the quality of the mains left us thoroughly satisfied. The service shone with a server who navigated the menu expertly, enhancing the overall dining experience. Highly recommended for steak lovers! Voir le carte

The restaurant is located in Halcyon, which is a mix-used outdoor mall. We dined for Valentine's Day. My husband made an 8:15 pm reservation and they allowed several others to make 8:15 goals. That was not favorable because we were waiting with a lot of couples.Nonetheless, we ate outside. Although it was chilly, the outdoor heaters made it bearable. The service was impeccable. The food was OK. I liked the fixed menu and price, it was a great deal. The filet mignon was good. The Mac anf cheese was OK. The broccolini was too spicy. The Creme Brulee wasn't really hard on top and lacked flavor. Although NY Cheesecake was large, it wasn't sweet enough. I loved the Love Portion No. 9 cocktail, bu...

The positives: The seating was comfortable, the wine glasses were spotless, and the wine was served chilled. The menu looked interesting and appealing. However, there were some challenges. Upon entering, we intended to have a quick appetizer and drink at the bar, but we were told to make it a fast visit because the bar stools were reserved. The bartender (who had darker hair) reassured us not to worry about it. We ordered our wine and asked the same bartender to inform us when he had a moment to take our appetizer order. Unfortunately, he never returned, so we ended up paying and leaving without placing an order. The establishment appeared nice, and the food being served looked good, but...

"I recently had the pleasure of dining at Bang Bang Katsu House, and I must say, it was a great experience. From the moment I stepped inside, I was greeted with warm and friendly smiles from the staff, creating an inviting atmosphere. The restaurant's interior is modern and stylish and the decor of its cafe side of the restaurant was very instagrammable worthy with the floral wall. The highlight of the evening was undoubtedly the katsu dishes. Bang Bang Katsu House specializes in this Japanese comfort food, and their expertise shines through in each bite. The menu offers a wide variety of katsu options, rice bowls, and ramen. For the table, my wife and I shared the bulgogi rice bowl, pork katsu, and tonkotsu ramen. The tonkatsu was cooked to perfection, tender on the inside with a golden-brown crust that gave a satisfying crunch. The bulgogi rice bowl had a nice balance of veggies, meat and rice. The ramen was just okay, but it was still delicious and satisfied our cravings. The service at Bang Bang Katsu House was impeccable. The waitstaff was attentive and knowledgeable, readily offering recommendations and ensuring that everything was up to par. The food arrived promptly, and the presentation was eye-catching.To top off the amazing meal, the dessert menu next door (Cafe Bora) featured some tempting options. I couldn't resist ordering the Purple Yam snow ball and it was the perfect ending to our dinner. My wife had the Taro Milk Tea and she also enjoyed it.Overall, my experience at Bang Bang Katsu House was exceptional. The combination of flavorful katsu dishes, attentive service, and inviting atmosphere made it an unforgettable dining experience while visiting Alpharetta. Whether you are a fan of Japanese cuisine or simply looking for a quick meal, Bang Bang Katsu House is a must-visit restaurant."
