The perfect place! Service was excellent. Food delicious and cooked to order. View was spectacular. Ample parking and definitely a place to go whenever you're in the Daytona area!

Our whole food was amazing. We went for dinner on our vacation and loved it so much as we went for lunch on the day we left. The oysters were a big hit and the best my party ever had. The trigger fish and seafood au gratin were also fantastic.

If you have never been in the hatch, start ordering the Pounder Flounder. Fish cooks perfectly every time. All her food is good.. we like to eat outside because of COVID, plus it is Florida and you can watch all the boats go by. The only bottom of the food outside on the deck are the stools that have no back. The interiors are also great because they have large windows.

Always a great time! Best food in Ponce Inlet (my opinion)! Chef changes it up with different 'specials ' weekly, and it 's always delicious! Great place to see boats sunsets... on the Halifax River. Ample parking, across street from restaurant. They often have live music outside... sometimes have a smoker going out there also! Can get crowded, so expect a wait. Enjoy!!

Nice dining experience. We were seated next to a large picture window looking out over the water, very nice. The server was first rate, kind and very professional. The scallops were perfection, some of the best I've ever had, but unfortunately the shrimp had very, very little taste and the garlic mash potatoes had some taste didn't have any kick to it. For the money, I don't think this particular plate was a good value. Next time I'll order something else. Voir le carte

You have to try the Parmesan smoked oysters!! My new favorite. Great service from Justin who was fast and professional. There is a wait up to an hour on a Saturday night...but with seafood this good it 's expected. The pagers worked down on the dock so we sat on the boat and like clock work were paged when our table was ready. You might see Salty Bean the cat who belongs to Mr. Stein wandering around. This was a great dinner for my friends 28th Anniversary.

Down the Hatch is a fantastic treasure tucked away on the water in Ponce Inlet, FL. Literally, the end of the road, er ummmmmmmm, Water. There is indoor/outdoor dining. Indoor has A/C and is beautifully decorated with everything ocean and the beach. Huge bar stocked with anything you want. Cathedral ceilings, making it a grand affair. Nice little gift shop inside as well... Outdoor, you dine or sit at the bar in a seaside shanty tiki bar setting. Even on the hottest days, it's nice, shaded, and cool.
