"We have visited the Chalet before, and it’s a fantastic, laid-back spot that gives you a taste of the Swiss Alps. Unfortunately, during our recent trip, the Chalet area was unavailable as it was being used to store equipment for the band performing later that night. We were only informed about this change when we arrived, not at the time of booking or any prior notice. The Chalet was a key reason for our visit! Instead, we were seated in the greenhouse section, which is another addition to the restaurant, right next to an often-drafty door. Nonetheless, the food was excellent, the bread was plentiful, and we still had a decent time. I just wish we had received a heads-up about the Chalet being turned into a storage room for the band. We’ll definitely return, but next time I’ll make sure to confirm that we can enjoy that delightful space!"

We were sat and had to ask 3 different people to send a server over. 25 minutes in no one still came to the table so we left.

Fondue is always great. And everything. But ai would have liked to Know the normal area for fondue, the chalet was closed before ai actually got there. It ruined my surprise to my friend :

Sadly for the second time now, the service was quite poor. Waitstaff seemed to be inconvenienced by us, were inattentive, slow in bringing drinks, got the orders wrong and tried to get us to leave by blasting horrible music. A shame since the food is great. Voir le carte

The fondue was incredible! Service was slow as they only had 1 server for the entire restaurant on a Saturday night...not sure who thought that was a good idea! The girl was super sweet though, and we weren't in any kind of hurry, so just enjoyed our delicious cheese wine!

I tried the white truffle fondue, and it was quite bland—definitely wouldn’t recommend it. On the other hand, the chocolate fondue was enjoyable. Overall, I found the food to be overpriced for what you get. The ambiance of the restaurant was lovely, and the service was good.

Service was terrible, waited 10 minutes for a menu and the waitress only came to our table once. The fondue itself was good but that's about it. Menu was handwritten and and had very few choices, a fondue place should at least give you a choice of cheese not just a choice of why they put in the cheese. Would not recommend. Voir le carte

The fondue is so good it makes suffering through the awful service worth it. But I really want to emphasize that the service is terrible. From telling Open Table we were a no show to taking 10 minutes to give us menus to forgetting our salad course entirely to the manager blaming anemic Williamsburg types on his staff for the wait, service and management failed pretty much every step of the way. Too bad because the fondue is actually really good.

Food was quite delicious, but our waiter just forgot about us. The tables around us (who had other waiters? came after us and left before. Our waiter checked on our table only once on her own volition. The rest of the meal we had to flag her down for things like the menu, our first round of drinks (which showed up after our food after we asked her, literally 50 minutes after we were seated we got our first drink , our second round of drinks, one of which got screwed up, and last but not least the check, which we had to ask the another waiter for. By the time our table was cleared the fondue pot was cold. We had a reservation for 8:00pm and didn't leave until 9:45, no apps and two rounds of d...

"When we called to reserve a table, no one informed us that there was a dining time limit of 1.5 hours. My friend wanted to invite more people to join us for dinner, but I was unsure if everyone would agree to the minimum charge of $60, including taxes and tips. I confirmed a reservation for 7 people during my second call, but ultimately, only 6 of us showed up. The table we were given was quite small, making it uncomfortable for six people, especially with the mandatory minimum spending of $60, as well as a 20% tip. For just two people, the minimum tip is 18%. I was confused about the dining time limit—was it two hours or 1.5? The party area was limited to just the backyard for additional seating. I was with friends who didn’t know the group well, and we arrived early at 3 PM, but we couldn’t wait until 6:30 PM. That’s why we ended up sitting at a separate table for two. Unfortunately, the restaurant didn’t seem to care and couldn’t arrange for us to be seated closer together. We had no choice in the matter. To make matters worse, the female waiter had a poor attitude. It felt like we were dining in a sidewalk market. She questioned another girl who served me ponzu sauce, apparently because I looked impatient when I saw her face. Her attitude only worsened after that. It seems like they need to train their employees better, as they seem unaware of how to provide good service. As for the food, it was just okay, typical of basic Japanese cuisine. There were too many restrictions! Customers are forced to adhere to the restaurant’s rules and limitations. I cannot recommend this place unless someone is specifically looking for a fast-food experience. In short, I don’t think I’ll be returning next time."
