The food preparation seemed lazy for a 4-star restaurant. It appeared to be complete lack of effort. We ate here three times (not many options within the resort) and the food we ordered was bad two times out of three. The place has a very good ambience, especially the outdoor setting. Voir le carte

We ate here twice for dinner. Both times, we had the half chicken and both times it was outstanding. My son opted for the buffets, which were pretty hit or miss. The buffet price was pretty high for the quality. The servers were friendly and prompt. We would recommend if you are staying at the Stonewall Resort.

We have been dining here, and taking my grandmother for special occasions, for years and continue to be pleased. Saturday was no different, the buffet is always a great option and the menu options are always delicious, as well. The place did seem understaffed, but our server did her absolute best during the busy dinner rush. We will be back.

One of my worst food experiences ever. Definitely NOT worth the money. Prime Rib was tough, pork loin was tough, shrimp and grits was just grits and was so dry appeared as if it had been cooked and warmed over for about 5 days straight. Loaded potatoes were SO dry. Dessert bar was a joke. Only two options and tasted like it came out of a box. Won’t be back and would NOT recommend. Voir le carte

The food here is pretty terrible. We ate here three times while staying at the resort. Breakfast was ok, but lunch and dinner were terrible. My mahi mahi and broccolini were so salty it was inedible. Their peanut chicken was just straight peanut butter with shredded chicken. The pulled pork was only ok, as was the dinner buffet. The prices are outrageous for what you get. This resort needs better food!

This restaurant can and will cancel your open table reservation prior to your meal time BUT still show up! This happened to us and they were completely dead with tables available. Also, ask to sit near the lake view windows if possible. The staff like to congregate and complain about restaurant gossip- staff being sick, staffing, family life- and it greatly disturbs the peace of your restaurant experience. This seems to occur back by the buffet glass on either side and also in a room behind the scenes that you can still hear from on the hostess stand side of the restaurant. We ate there 4 times in 2 days so I noticed patterns very quickly.

I don’t normally complain about my stay at places because I understand sometimes things happen. The first time I stayed at Stonewall 6 years ago it was wonderful however I stayed again the weekend before last for my birthday and I was very disappointed. The bathroom was dirty. It looked like they just replaced what was needed and left it. Hair was all over the floor, the vanity had dirty hand marks on it. The shower looked as if it hadn’t been touched in ages. But, the rest of the room was fine. The dining experience was horrible. We ate at Stillwater, the poor server had SO many tables. I felt so bad for her. She wasn’t able to refill our drinks and didn’t even take our order for over 30min... Voir le carte
