This restaurant is the most unsanitary place I've ever encountered. The open kitchen exposes a chaotic, neglected, and dirty environment right in front of you. The chef, sweating profusely, handles the food without wearing any gloves. Moreover, the quality of the food is lacking, and it's left uncovered.

It was decent. Good food. Nothing profound. Moderate to small portions. The dessert was a complete let down. They need to be more creative. The drink was very lack luster too. Food was cooked nicely, well plated, unique butter and fritters. Unique use of squash. Staff was very attentive. Very accommodating with substitutes.

Very much enjoyed my experience at Malcom's this evening. All the customers around seemed happy too. Service is great, server and bar tender are very friendly and do a great job creating a great dining experience for those dining in. The food is absolutely amazing. First of all, the food was outstanding! I ordered the steak and eggs and asked for the steak to be cooked medium rare. After talking to the chef, I found out it had been freshly smoked and slow-cooked for 30 hours—absolutely perfection! The coffee was exceptional too, providing just the boost I needed to tackle the day. This place is amazing, and I would definitely return if I'm in the area again!

We were recommended this restaurant by a student at Union College, and we’re so glad we took their advice. From our first interaction with our server (who is the owner's mother!) to the drinks, appetizers, and main course, everything was delicious and enjoyable. We are huge fans of Malcolm's! The menu is varied and showcases fresh, locally-sourced ingredients. You can sip on a drink while watching the chefs at work. They offer both outdoor and indoor seating. The ambiance has a feel similar to some restaurants in NYC. The owner recommended a wine we hadn't tasted before, and it was wonderful! I had a wonderful solo dinner at Malcom's on Sunday while on a business trip. I decided to sit at the bar, and the service was outstanding. As a first-time guest, the staff did an excellent job of explaining the menu and addressing my inquiries. Although it was quite busy, being patient and courteous truly made a difference, as the staff was friendly and the food was exceptional. I definitely plan to come back in the future. Happy 4th anniversary!

This was my first visit, and I had an absolutely fantastic dining experience! We chose the prix fixe menu, and the portion sizes were just perfect. The variety of flavors was amazing. The Brussels sprouts were expertly cooked and packed with flavor. The Espresso Martini offered a delightful blend of tastes that I thoroughly enjoyed! The duck and sweet potatoes were incredibly flavorful! The staff was friendly and very accommodating. I highly recommend trying this place out! I can't wait to go back!

I just went to Malcolm's with a group of friends and it was incredible! I especially appreciated the creativity of the seasonal menu for this farm-to-table restaurant in January. Would be here all the time if I lived in the area! To start, we had a number of appetizers. Our favorites were the crispy brussel sprouts with bacon jam and the smoked ricotta with snap peas I had never had anything like it before but the ricotta was incredible, like a better version of hummus. The duck sope really stole the show though. It was so juicy with a handmade corn cake you could tell was freshly made.
