Craignair Inn - Carte

This restaurant is a fantastic and enchanting place to visit. The staff is friendly, the view is amazing, and the atmosphere is welcoming. If you have dogs, this is the most dog-friendly place I have ever visited.

Greg and Lauren with terrific hosts. We have 2 dogs and they we're welcomed with an amazing Dog Welcome Kit! Food at the Causeway was outstanding, staff was gracious, and property and room were amazing. Thank you we'll be back.

Very nice establishment, Everyone is kind. Rooms and bathroom were clean, a must. Quiet location which is needed for the mind and soul. They have a resurant on site, and the food is GREAT! If I am ever in the area again, I would definitely come back. Voir le carte

the craignair inn is always a wonderful, relaxing place to land. greg and lurking are still wonderful host, which makes every year improvements at an already charming place. beautiful view, good eating and comfortable rooms make it a perfect stop point during the trip to maine.

The Craignair Inn is a stunning hidden treasure located along the coast of Maine. Its charm lies in its picturesque location and the lovely couple who run the inn. Travelers passing through should definitely consider staying overnight or for a few nights. The accommodations are cozy and spotless, and on clear evenings, guests can listen to the sound of the bell buoy on the water.

The inn is so romantic, sitting at the edge of the sea. It is quiet and peaceful, a wonderful respite from our home in urban Southern California. We stayed there a few times in the 1980s and 90s, but this was our first time back under the current owners. They have done a marvelous job updating the inn and adding a great deck. What a sweet find! Tucked away in a sea coast hamlet we found The Craignair to be clean, quiet and lovely. The causeway at the end of the driveway leads to Clark's Island and several little beach areas. The restaurant is reservation only but absolutely the best food ever! We had pork prime rib perfectly prepared. Both the Inn and Restaurant are run smoothly and efficiently. The breakfast was substantial and as we picked out our breakfast choices as well as our time, there is very little waiting. Next time at least two nights...

This is a truly wonderful spot on the coast with the best restaurant on the peninsula on the premises. There's lots of hiking in the area, two well known lighthouses close by, Owl's Head and Marshall Point, and is fairly close to both Port Clyde and Rockland.The restaurant is fantastic with all kinds of fare and in particular, many vegetarian options. The food is great however you chose. Add a small but excellent whisky list, local craft beers, and an ample wine selection and you have all the makings of memorable meal. Great views are a bonus!Will stay here whenever I'm in the area.

I recently went to this restaurant for brunch and was greeted by a large crowd of people. The service was extremely slow and possibly the worst I have ever experienced. I waited at my table for 10 minutes before someone finally asked me what I wanted to drink. The woman who brought me my coffee had lipstick all over her cup, which was quite off-putting. My $9 double cappuccino turned out to be just an espresso, and on top of that, it burned my waffle. I waited another 20 minutes just to get the check, even though I had already requested a to-go box. Overall, I would not recommend this restaurant based on my experience. Voir le carte
