La Dona - Piatti

I stop here any time I frequent OB! Their food is ? the drinks and atmosphere vibe this place always has make it one of my favorite SD spots. When you go, you should totally get the elote.

I've been here for Brunch, Lunch, and Dinner and each time has been great. I've tried so many different dishes here and each are top quality. Their drinks are excellent as well. You can't go wrong here.

Everything was great, would recommend going. My one reservation is how finely chopped the beef was in that one burrito covered in red and green sauce. It felt more like eating mommas beef stew wrapped in a tortilla than Mexican food. Still had great flavor though. Visualizza piatti

I haven't been to this restaurant in a long time, so I can't remember exactly what I ordered, but I do recall that the food was delicious and the service was excellent. There were dogs present in the restaurant. I remember enjoying two tacos, while my mom ordered hot dogs for the kids. The churros we had for my dad's birthday were also delicious.

We found La Doña when exploring Ocean Beach. I love mezcal, so it was great to hear from our waitress that the owners are nerds about it and train the staff on recognizing the flavors and recommending different varieties to guests. The outdoor area was beautifully decorated. The service was friendly and helpful. The Camarones tacos were outstanding as well! Definitely would love to come back!

Stopped in for a late lunch after hanging out on the beach. Food came out quickly, large portions, great drinks.Note: the refried beans are spicy (I like spicy and I thought they were hot mixed with my rice and guac to cool down). The jalapeño cucumber margarita was perfect with my tacos.I preferred my carnitas taco to the fish taco but both were quite good. I LOVE that cicerones (pork rinds) were served with the guac. I've been loving La Doña since they first opened, great addition to OB! The birria tacos, nachos and ceviche are amazing (you really can't go wrong with the whole menu), thanks Chef Gabby! I was really impressed my recent visit- the bartenders intuition to not serve a person a drink that she could tell was going to be a bother to me and surrounding customers at the bar, it got me to stick around longer and feel more comfortable during my visit. The Mexican food at La Dona in Ocean Beach is exceptional! After reading reviews, we were eager to give it a try. Despite a 20-minute wait for a table, it was well worth it. The restaurant was bustling, and we were seated on the outdoor patio where patio heaters kept us warm in the chilly weather. The service was top-notch, and the food was incredible! Every dish we ordered was delicious, and the churros were the best we've ever tasted! We were so impressed that we wanted to return for another meal. That's how much we enjoyed it!
