"We've been dining here for many years, and after a three-year hiatus, we still love it just as much. Chef Greg and Betsey do an incredible job serving up delicious food alongside warm, friendly service. During our recent stay on Bainbridge, we visited twice. On our first night, we sat at the bar, and despite the restaurant being at full capacity, we enjoyed a fantastic meal of seared fresh wild salmon and mussels frites. Our server was delightful, and we had an engaging conversation with Betsey about their innovative cocktail program. You absolutely must try the chef’s house-made rolls with cultured butter – they’re warm, crusty, and perfect. Everything he prepares is exceptional, and there are truly no bad choices here. We're thrilled to see this restaurant thriving despite the challenges facing the hospitality industry. Marche is a true gem that is well worth seeking out."

I was really disappointed with the food. I had been there several years ago (before Covid) and loved it, so I don't know what went wrong. I ordered the French onion soup but couldn't even finish it.

The food is quite ordinary but comes with a high-end price tag. I dined in for dinner, and the cost was around $50 to $100 per person. I would rate the food a 2 out of 5, the service a 3, and the atmosphere a 4.

My wife’s French onion soup was fantastic and the grilled shrimp was good; however my “salmon chowder” was more like a fish soup and my wine tasted yeasty with crystallized strips at the bottom. Food seemed overpriced for what we got. Service: Dine in Visualizza piatti

I had the salmon dish. It was a small piece for the price. I had a French 75 drink, salmon and creme brulee for dessert. All were delicious. Just know this restaurant is a little pricey. I guess we can blame that on our current inflation issues. Service: Dine in

Excellent spot. Spontaneous dinner decision but got a quick seat in the bar on a Saturday night. Food, service, and over all ambience were all we could have asked for. Definitely a spot we’ll be coming back to on our Bainbridge adventures. Id suggest you try it too. Service: Dine in

I just left the restaurant with a stomachache. I could only manage three bites of my burger because the meat had no flavor and the bun was hard. The fries were cold and undercooked; I barely ate about five of them. The food is definitely overpriced, and I really don't understand how they manage to stay in business with such mediocre quality and a pricey menu. Service: Dine-in. Visualizza piatti

However, I do have to point out that the 20% service fee is quite excessive. It's not the existence of the fee itself that bothers me, but rather how it’s presented on the bill. It states that 66% goes to the servers and 33% to the kitchen staff, but I had to ask for clarification because it wasn’t clear at all. The bill just mentioned that 66% goes to those who helped prepare and serve my meal, which made me wonder if the restaurant was keeping that 33% for themselves. This also made it tricky for me to calculate an appropriate tip for my server, which was the last thing I wanted to deal with after a couple of glasses of wine.

Probably one of the worst and overpriced meals I 've had in Kitsap County. My party of 3 only liked the pea flan. Everything else was utterly disappointing and we didn 't finish any of the dishes. The French onion soup was especially bad and tasted like it was made by someone who had never had it before. The other thing we didn 't care for was being charged a dine-in service charge which was basically a forced tip with only a portion of it going to the staff. I would 've happily tipped our server 20% because she was the only redeeming factor to this place, but I hate when restaurants charge these extra fees without advising customers. It 's just shady and deceptive. Our bill was over $200 wi...

"Unfortunately, I can neither say that this food is authentic or good. I have been here twice and I was hoping that the second time would be a redemption but it was probably worse than the first time. I have eaten a lot of Vietnamese food in my lifetime and there was only one dish that tasted vaguely Vietnamese? I understand that it was part of a fusion concept but many of the menu items just didn't make sense and the menu felt very incohesive. The ambience was nice though and we were seated on the outside patio on a chilly fall day. I feel like it could have been more heated, but that's just a minor complaint.I ordered the chicken buns, chicken pho, and the vermicelli noodles with grilled pork. The vermicelli noodles were the most Vietnamese and it was acceptable. Good char on the pork, although it felt like something was missing-maybe it was that they didn't give the proper herb bundle with mint and such. The chicken buns were not great as the chicken was chewy and stringy, instead of being juicy and moist. Finally, the most egregious menu item was probably the chicken pho with the onsen egg. To be honest, I don't even know what an onsen egg is doing in pho; it didn't work. The chicken, just like the karaage, was very much overcooked and not done as traditional pho ga chicken. It was tough and stringy, and the broth was overwhelmingly a massive salt bomb. The soup was so salty that I couldn't even even drink more than two sips. Finally, the service just wasn't great when I went. I had to flag down the waiter multiple times to even order and ask for water, and there weren't even that many other tables. I also felt frustrated at the end when I was trying to pay for the bill, the waiter took a credit card from my grandparents when I pleaded with him not to and he explained, he was very much first come first serve. I understand this is some specific cultural social norm and not something to drag a waiter into, but it did feel tone deaf. Unfortunately, I just can't see myself returning especially considering the price point is high. There is much better Vietnamese or Asian for a much better price point in Seattle."
