"We enjoyed the guacamole and salsa. The medium guacamole and it was fairly spicy. Each person ordered a different kind of enchiladas and tacos and then we traded around so that everyone could try several kinds. We were severed quickly which would be good for people who have an evening engagement. Our only complaint was that it was quick noisy which made it difficult to hear each other at our table."

Came here on a Sunday morning for breakfastAlmost all of the menu can be made gluten free! Food was delicious, but the service was a little slow.

The guacamole is excellent. We ate outdoors on the sidewalk which was a pleasant experience. While the food is neither authentic nor gourmet, it is quite tasty and well prepared. Service is good and portions are generous. It's a fun environment.

"We liked it so much, we went twice. Authentic French cuisine, the steak frite like in Paris, the Grande Assiette with home made pâté de foie de volaille was like butter, the gnocchi with fresh herbs and very delicate cream was like desert. The fish en croute « Wellington » was crispy yet very thin and light to the taste. The atmosphere and attention to details was spot on. The owners, Jasmine as maître d?hôtel and chef ????????? (sorry can?t remember his name) make sure you leave happy and content. Our 10 month old toddler was treated like a prince ???? Tried to book for 5 tomorrow but we?ll have to let others enjoy as it?s fully booked with reason. Merci Jasmine and see you again soon."

"The food was outstanding. My absolute favorite was the lobster stew which as filled with lobster with beautifully cooked veg. I can’t wait to go eat it again. Cocktails were very good as well (Paloma and brown derby) Ambiance and service were both great. This has been my favorite meal of the summer so far. Beautiful job chef!"

"Our visit to Ocean was sadly a disappointment. Positives: View was beautiful and the service was attentive. Food was plated beautifully. Our waitress noticed that our food took forever to arrive and offered to buy us a drink (we declined as we had to drive, but did notice that she didn't even end up comping the one drink we did order at the beginning of the evening). Negatives: Food was obscenely overpriced and unbelievably bland. I got the asparagus and lobster salad for my first course and it had absolutely zero flavor and maybe 1 ounce total of lobster. Entree selections were limited and bizarre for Maine in the summer. Very little local fresh seafood but instead lamb? I actually got the lamb but the meat, carrots and polenta were all cold upon arrival to my table. I would've sent it back but by that point it was 10:00 (we were seated at 8:00) and I just wanted to get out of there. Beyond that, the lamb was utterly tasteless. My husband's cod was also undercooked and not at all seasoned. Everything we had not only lacked flavor but lacked any sort of texture or contrast. I would've been upset at the food even if the meal had been reasonably priced. However, at well over $100 a person, one should be able to expect food that is far more than mediocre. I would recommend this place only for drinks on the deck. Or I would recommend if you are both flush with cash and terrified of anything that has flavor."

"10 10 for atmosphere and staff but the food just didnt match the atmosphere. We reserved a fishing shack (super cute for a.date night there is a $25 charge for an hour, I didn't notice this when making my reservation but still less than private igloos elsewhere. We had the last reservation (reservations are for 1 hour and you will be asked to move to the bar indoors at an hour if still dining and were informed it was last call upon seating so we ordered our 1 drink an app to split and smaller main courses (Fried Chicken Sandwich and a Caeser Salad. Again, super cute and cozy in the fishing shack dinner for 2 came in just over $100 with the reservation fee for the shack. It was snowing when we arrived and it turned to rain, the sound on the tin roof of the shack only added to the coziness. Unfortunately, the rushed feeling took away from the intimacy, worth a visit but wouldn't make it a regular stop."
