"I had the brisket quesadilla, which was very greasy although tasty and the tortilla was still crispy. I put a LOT of paper towels in the plate to soak up the grease and keep the tortilla crisp. The beans that came with were peppery and delicious. My husband has the Cannon dog, which he loved give it 5 stars! . The atmosphere was clean, but nothing special. What stood out was the lack of interest the two older women servers had in actually doing their jobs. They spent most of the time talking to each other behind the bar, showing each other stuff on their phones. The shorter of the older women was personable when she came to take our order, but the taller one wouldn 't look at us when we walked in except to stare at us with a blank expression while we waited for some sign as to how things worked there she finally asked me if I wanted a menu and brought me one my husband was in the restroom put it on the high table near me without looking at me and was gone before I could ask if we should seat ourselves. When my husband joined me standing there looking at the menu, he caught her eye and asked if we should seat ourselves, she grunted an affirmative. Later both of them came to our table, and the shorter one asked if we 'd chosen a drink, as soon as my husband said his choice, the taller one walked off to get it mine came several minutes later . If the place had been busy and they 'd been working, the slowness and neglect would have been perfectly acceptable, but it wasn 't and they weren 't. Maybe it was because we weren 't locals? But there were a couple of other tables that received similar treatment as far as I saw. There was a younger server who these two also mostly ignored while she worked another table and kept fairly busy. The food and beers were good enough that we 'll try this place again. Maybe it was just a bad day..."

We had a big tex bacon cheeseburger sweet and spicy and the beef quality was a home run. The gauc. bites might have been my favorite things gonna have to go home and attempt to recreate those. Southwest egg rolls were very good. Large selection of craft beers. Definitely the highlight of our vacation. So glad to find this hidden gem. Service: Dine in

It was shocking to see that this place is veteran-owned after leaving this place. We THOUGHT the experience was a positive one: great tasting food, two fresh beers, alert staff. However, after we paid, I was told the wait staff were bad-mouthing our not unusual party of 4 calling us a “loud large party” and “thankful we brought our own cards” to entertain ourselves. Our “large” group of a whopping two couples often frequents breweries and locally owned business around the San Antonio area, always leaving a tip and using manners each time.
