"While the food was pretty good the service was subpar. My family and I had an issue with the manager after we requested a change in our order due to noticing a feather on our chicken, having been delivered cold mac and cheese and waiting 40 minutes for our drinks to arrive. Our only request was to switch back to my family members original order of fish as opposed to the chicken we received. Instead of the manager being accommodating he argued with my family member about the service we experienced and stated that he could not fulfill her request in giving her the fish she had originally asked because she kept changing her mind and wanted the chicken instead. This was false, my family member did originally mention she wanted to salmon and grits but prior to the waitress submitting the order she changed her mind to the chicken and waffles. The reason for the change after the chicken was brought out was because we noticed a large feather on the chicken and my family member felt the chicken may not have been properly cleaned. Therefore, she requested her original order of salmon to substitute the chicken. We were NOT requesting a completely new order. The continued to argue back and forth and kept asking was he not being accommodating and what he was doing wrong. I felt the arguing with my family member was extremely unprofessional and not a good representation for the restaurant. In my opinion, the manager should have done what he needed to accommodate my family member (although she changed her order prior to the waitress putting in the order) for the feather found on her chicken and the other inconveniences we experienced throughout our time there. This place was recommended to me, and I was excited to patron a black owned business. However, although I personally enjoyed the food and the drinks (when they finally came out) I will not return or recommend due to the managers unprofessional behavior."

Every time we visit, we have a wonderful experience. We really enjoy the food and music, especially on weekends. It's the perfect place for brunch!

We had a reservation for 11 o'clock, but there was no speck available, as the waiter informed us it hadn't been prepared. My mimosa was flat and was missing champagne. Overall, we were quite disappointed. The waiter was very apologetic about the situation. View menu

We were seated at 4:10pm and no one acknowledged us. At 4:35pm I flagged down a waitress and asked if she would help us. We’d been sitting for 25 minutes without a glass of water. She stated that our table was not assigned to her but she agreed to take our order. Once the food arrived it was really good. The waffles were cold but the chicken was piping hot. I will visit the restaurant again because the chicken was delicious but their customer service SUCKS!!!

Upon arrival, we were greeted by a lovely atmosphere with soft lighting, and the restaurant was clean and well-maintained. The food was delicious; however, I wasn't too fond of my drink—I ordered a mango margarita that didn't quite hit the mark. Everyone else really enjoyed their meals, though. I opted for the chicken and waffles (just the regular waffles), and they were exactly how I like them—light and fluffy, with the chicken perfectly seasoned. One of my friends had the shrimp and grits, and she said it was excellent, while another raved about the well-seasoned lemon pepper wings. Overall, we had a fantastic time there!
