"We decided to order takeout through DoorDash and pick up our food in person. The food was ready on time and everything went smoothly. However, the food quality was surprisingly low. In addition, the package was leaking oil due to the poor packing. I personally ordered chicken sauté, and my friend ordered lentil soup along with a lamb dish. Since our order exceeded $15, we received a free Revani. The chicken was extremely salty and greasy, while my friend found the lamb to be dry. The only item that met our expectations was the lentil soup, so I'm giving it two stars. I had high hopes for this restaurant, but we were highly dissatisfied with the food quality. In the future, I might give this restaurant another try, but until then, my negative review will stand."

Everything is always absolutely delicious. Everytime I dine here, it's always a perfect experience, food, service, and ambiance. Try the whole branzino or the Lamb Chops. To die for!! Great lunch specials too. View menu

Evening light meal was delicious and perfect. The 2 of us shared delicious and plentiful La turka salad, babaganosh and lamb wrap. Bread was homemade and very good. Service excellent. Atmosphere and decor pleasing. Will go there again!

I enjoyed their puree of lentil soup. I also enjoyed their grilled whole branzino served with mashed potatoes and mixed vegetables. The branzino see photo) was moist and flavorful. I am a lamb shank enthusiast. I tried it here at A la Turka three times. The first time I tried it I was pleased. On the second and third times the lamb shank $32) was overcooked, having little to no flavor. The presentation was great with an abundance of different colored cooked vegetables, accompanying the lamb shank in a tomato sauce, rice was on the side. The lamb shank dish makes for a colorful picture, but the flavor was not there.

"We went to Bread N Wine on a early Saturday afternoon for brunch. We were greeted and seated by the servers who were attentive. The food was okay the bread was really soft and fresh. My partner got the French Lentil Soup, Spinach and Tomato Egg Bake andI got the French onion soup, egg omelette with spicy tomato avocado and onions. I wasn 't happy with my omelette because thespicy just meant it was covered in hot sauce within. For beverages, we got chai lattes (we later found out it wasn 't tea basedbut rather coffee) and we had the option of oat milk, almond milk or regular milk. In terms of our overall experience we feltby the end too many things were steering the experience south; the worst was when we were accused of using counterfeit money topay for the tip. There was no special marker used to prove that the money was counterfeit or technology to back up this claim. That experience alone left a bad taste in our mouth as we left embarrassed by that claim, kind of shook from that, we stilladded the tip to our credit card 18%. As we walked out and talked about how weird that was, the owner of the business nextdoor overheard us and asked to see the $20 bill he showed us that our money was real and validated what we knew, that themoney wasn 't counterfeit. When we went back into Bread N Wine to discuss this there was no apology, just well, it felt thatway , shrug. It left a terrible feeling. We would not go back after that, this is not how you treat customers from start tofinish, hence the 2 star review."
