"Thanks to the NY vlogger who posted pics of his meals in Istanbul. Made me want some Middle Eastern food. Ordered from a place called Al Rayyan in Yonkers 4 shawarmas and falafels. OMG were they delicious. Fresh, fat with filling and seasoned nicely. Not at all greasy or too much of stuff. Even reheated they were good. I looked them up and discovered they were a supermarket, too! Friendly and helpful service. Not a huge place but very well stocked. What I bought are the first few pictures. Of course, I had to buy their homemade pistachio baklava and warbat. FYI You can stop by or order their food via Grubhub/Seamless. Very reasonably priced and yummy."

I’ve been going to Al Rayyan for years. They have the best and freshest groceries and meats. I also love the way they make their in house sweets Karabeej Halab) The staff is very courteous, very sweet, and so accommodating. I totally recommend this place 100%????

This restaurant is amazing! They have a wide variety of Middle Eastern groceries, fresh food, bulk nuts, snacks, and sweets. They also serve tasty falafel, shwarma sandwiches, tabbouleh, and fresh hummus made to order. The staff is friendly and the food is really delicious.

Nice Middle Eastern shop that has baklava, almond pastries, almond cake, a lot of pomegranate drinks, and all the hookah supplies you could ever need. They also do halal food which is pretty good but you should probably call ahead as it does take some time for them to cook it. View menu

I bought 2 boxes of baklava—$45 and $20,—both as gifts. When my sister opened her $45 box, we were all there. None of the baklava tasted right—the nuts were all rancid. The expiration on the box stated May 2023. I went back to store a few weeks later when I was in the area. They didn’t even apologize, let alone offer a store credit or refund. They stated that they never have an issue with it….

If you're in search of Turkish goods, this is the place to go. They offer a wide variety of items so you don't need to travel to New Jersey for Turkish supermarkets. They carry halal meat in general and even have halal Turkey available for Thanksgiving, which is fantastic. The butcher is extremely friendly and the staff is helpful. The presence of a parking lot makes it convenient. The only drawback is that I found their products to be quite expensive. However, the prices of fruits and vegetables were reasonable.
