"Alibi is a nice pub serving a small but mighty selection of foods. We ordered the Red, White and Blue which was a bake saucy pasta with chicken breast in a delicious hot sauce topped with blue cheese. The sauce was similar to Franks Hot Sauce. It was a great combination of ingredients! The Greek salad was delightful and colorful filledwith olives and the best feta cheese I've tasted super creamy and not too salty. The house made lemon vinaigrette dressing was amazing and was a perfect pair for the salad. Husband got the steak sandwich which was filled with slices of steak and pickles on the side. The steak was tender and it filled him up. If you drink beer, go here. If you like to eat great food, go here. If you drink beer with your food, definitely go here. PS: staff and guest were all friendly and the bathroom was clean!"

One of my favorite roasts in town. This at Truckee has really different vibes compared to other locations. Great place to hang with friends!

Cool brewery with a great vibe and service. Got the steak sando and it was tasty. They got 23 beers on tap so you won't be thirsty. Great place to grab a bite with small large groups...

We stopped by after a day on the slopes and ordered a steak sandwich, bratwurst, and artichokes. Everything was fantastic and full of wonderful flavors. The service was excellent; the staff provided great recommendations and were very patient with all of our questions. View menu

I ordered the Portobello sandwich, and it was fantastic! It was full of flavor and perfectly balanced. The restaurant also offers an impressive selection of beers, including many dark beers and sours. With about 24 different options, I’m sure anyone could find something they enjoy.

Beautiful location! Great selection of beers! The Alibi Ale had a perfect grapefruit note with just the right amount of IPA bitter. The 2 stouts were smooth and amazing as well. They have a large family friendly interior and a large outdoor beer garden with heaters that is dog friendly!Love this place!

Nice place for lunch and some beer tasting. Parking in their lot is limited but we got a spot. Only a couple of blocks from the paid public parking area if you need it. Building is nice and they have a beer garden patio where your fur friends are welcome. The portobello sando I had was yummy. Hubby said the salmon burger was also good. They have a variety of beers to choose from, just to name a few: IPAs, a pilsner, a hefeweizen with honey, an alt beer, oktoberfest, some sours, and a cider. View menu

What an amazing restaurant! While parking can be limited on the side of the building, there are plenty of street parking options available. Upon entering, we found both indoor and outdoor seating, and we were greeted by the incredibly friendly staff. They offer a wide variety of beers, including sour options and kombucha. The food dishes are quite unique for a bar, and everything we tried was absolutely delicious! The restrooms were clean, and they have a perch where you can purchase items as well. All of the dishes were packed with flavor and very satisfying.

I live in San Diego. Kinda sorta a beer god town. However, I have kids now so beer tasting every weekend is now of my league. Alibi was shockingly amazing, far above the above-average tier. It beats Stone, Modern Times, even Russian River in my opinion. The beers are lighter, less hoppy and hazy but full of flavor. They don't fill you up and fat you up, they fill you with happiness and delight. The A+ kicker is the quality of food. While the bratwurst was ok, my lamb burger was bomb. Lamb tasted freshly formed, freshly pressed and cooked. The pickles on the side were awesome.Tons of seating inside and out, over all an excellent spot.

"Oh my goodness! There is so many great things to say about this place. Let's start with our waitress, Courtney. She was AWESOME! She was super nice (we had 5 kids with us ranging in ages from 13 to 6). She was patient with the kids and answered all of their questions and had a great attitude. We went during happy hour which had some great options. I wish I'd of sprang $2 more for the shot of whiskey bc 5 kids...whooo mama needed it We ordered the hummus and flatbread snack, it was very flavorful and the flatbread had a nice texture and had some spices on it that brought out the flavors of the hummus, which had pistachios and kalamata olives on top. Super yummy. We chose to stick to pizzas since we were on our way home and had a 3 hour drive ahead of us, so it came out promptly.Pork belly and Padron was AMAZING! it had an amazing flavor with the honey. We also ordered a meatball pie. I'm super picky about meatballs and these balls were nothing less than absolutely perfect. They weren't overrun by fennel like some balls. The other two pizzas were aimed at the kids, cheese and pepperoni. As mundane as that sounds they were awesome also. The pepperoni had a great flavor and the cheese blend they use must've been made by unicorns because it was some of the best I've had. Now, let's talk about the crust. It was thin and not overpowering. The crust didn't take away from the magic of the toppings but added to the party that was going on inside my mouth!I will definitely be back next time I come to Truckee!Thank you Courtney! Update: 5/21/22Still AMAZING! Their cocktail menu is superb! Creative AND tasty! The hummus is fantastic! The pistachios taste super fresh and their olive oil is smooth. I would like to see a collaboration with their equally fantastic neighbor, Tahoe Oil Spice.I'm NEVER disappointed in their food or their service.5 stars, as usual!"
