"This is one of my top favorite restaurants in Pgh. (This location specifically; I've never been to any of the others, though I'm sure they're great too! This place is pure comfort and nostalgia to me, having eaten here for the past 10-12 years. I love all their food but my favorite is the falafel salad. I absolutely love good greens, and their greens are sooo fresh. They put several big, delicious falafels on the salad, and the falafels are crunchy on the outside and soft/warm on the inside. Perfect. Great flavor too, and it's a generous serving for not a ton of money. OH GOD and I almost forgot to mention the hummus!!! It's incredible. Please do yourself a favor and order hummus with pita. And if you get falafel, dip those in the hummus too. Man... I love Aladdin's. Thank you for existing ?"

Everything was good. The intensely garlicky baba ganoush was the standout winner in this appetizer plate.The baklava wasn’t standard, possibly from using butter or browned butter instead of ghee. It tasted intensely buttery, milk solids and all. I think I prefer it this way.

I ordered the babaganouj appetizer and the rolled falafel, and both were absolutely delicious. The portion of babaganouj was so generous that I've been enjoying it as a snack for the past two days. I really appreciated that the menu clearly indicated which options were vegetarian and vegan. Our server, Danielle, was fantastic—she kept our drinks full and was extremely friendly.
