Ameer's Mediterranean Grill

The food here is amazing! This is by far the best Mediterranean restaurant I've ever been to. Since moving to Georgia from California 3 years ago, this is the best restaurant we've discovered.

I enjoyed the food. The owner was very involved in the ordering and food preparation. He was friendly and helpful. My food was great. Some of my fries were undercooked. Able to cater to the vegans and vegetarians in the group. Vegetarian options: They offer several vegetarian options. Of course the falafel but also an eggplant gyro that was even better. We decided to stop by this restaurant on our way down the highway. I ordered the tabouleh with a chicken kabob, and my partner ordered the beef and lamb shawarma sandwich. The portion sizes were generous and the food was delicious. The meals were very flavorful and well-seasoned. We will definitely visit this place again the next time we are in the area. This was a sit-down dinner service.

I'm not sure how I feel about this restaurant. I didn't like the atmosphere, but the food was decent. The salad was really good, but overall, I wouldn't return. I paid $18 and the portion sizes were not worth it compared to the pictures I saw in other reviews. The people preparing the food seemed to be the owners and were eating in the food prep area, trying to catch their food from falling out of their mouth after every bite. Arrived an hour before closing but was greeted with patience and a smile.We were only diners late on a Tuesday but food was made fresh. We had combo 1, lamb and hummus, and lamb shank. With the meals and sides, we took carry out for another meal or two as portions were big.The flavor on the tender lamb shank was delicious. The lamb hummus served with pita was excellent but filling. My son the teenager has the combo so you don’t mess with a college kids food right after finals but his plate was empty?The owner/cook came to talk with us and told us stories.We will return

We recently had dinner at this restaurant and had a great experience. The price per person was very reasonable, ranging from $10 to $20. The food was exceptional, as we loved everything we ordered. Some of the dishes we highly recommend are the falafel, Lebanese salad, hummus, pita, chicken shawarma, and baklava. For vegetarians, there are some options available, although the selection is somewhat limited. However, they do offer a vegetarian menu or section. Wow! Wow! Wow!!!!! My husband and I stopped here after a long day with a doctors appointment in Atlanta. We’ heading back to our home near Chattanooga and decided to find something to eat away from Atlanta. We randomly found Ameer’s on a search while driving 75N. I actually don’t think I can even say enough great things about our food!! Everything was so FRESH! I had lamb and beef shawarma with a side beet salad, and my husband had chicken shawarma.
