"We love the bar at this restaurant and have never eaten here, so we decided to try their NYE five course dinner. So not worth the $75/person. The service and ambience were good...great views of the plaza. The food was very underwhelming. We felt rushed through our five courses. They brought out the next course before we were done with the current one. My prime rib was cooked well, but it was cold. You could tell it spent some time under a heat lamp. Our server, Sydney did a great job and was very friendly and accommodating. It’s a shame the food missed the mark so badly. We will return, but only to enjoy the bar and great live music."

Would not recommend for a special occasion. Maybe if nothing else was opened.

Our birthday afternoon tea was fun. The treats were yummy. Our waiter, Marcos, was very welcoming.

We had an amazing Christmas Eve dinner with our 5 children and grandbaby. Took incredible pictures in front of Kansas City’s plaza lights! Service and ambiance a must go to! View menu

Very over priced for the quality of the food. Had to send it back because of a hair, then it came out way overcooked. This place was as good and as nice as any other regular hotel restaurant. Nothing special about it.

We had a lovely tea celebration for my sister's birthday. The food was visually appealing and quite tasty. Our servers were wonderful. They gave us privacy, but returned at exactly the right times to bring more tea, water, etc. For the experience we were looking for, it was perfect.

overall experience was ok. nice looking at the plaza, but in any case a hotel bar feeling against a restaurant. the staff was nice, but never offered to fill our waters again. we were there for restaurant week. apps were good, chicken roast series was good, but thunfish was tasteless. we took our desserts home. Basic hotel food, nothing special. The Provence omelet wasn't bad. The veggies inside the omelet were tasty. I'm not a fan of goat cheese and was able to have cheddar instead, but probably could have done without cheese. The breakfast potatoes were cubed and fried, but they were hot and fresh. A bit expensive for what you get, but I guess it's to be expected for a meal at a hotel.

The dinner and service was just okay. The lobster tail was not as great of quality as we expected for spending $200 for dinner. Not upset but definitely will not be back. Also, we received a very strange call once we arrived home from the staff asking me if we had ordered a pineapple mojito? They suggested we ordered it and didn’t pay for it and when I questioned them further they seemed confused and then hung up. It was very odd as we only dined at our table and paid in full with a credit card and did not order anything close to a mojito.

"We visited the Majestic 5-12-19. Party of 20. Our reservation wasn't ready for 30 long minutes my guests stood and waited- they did give two free appetizer trays for that. The Salmon meal had a HAIR in it, and when we told our waiter he said “ and?” I raised my voice and said theres a 4” hair in my mothers food.... THEN he got her a new plate like it was an inconvenience. THE FOOD was dry, bland and worse than chick filet ..... The salmon was dry and tasteless with a gross sauce on top that wasn’t delectable..The Pasta Tray for $30 was .20 cent of shell pasta under cooked with three tiny cubes of tomato and rotten chards in cheese sauce. Culturally this party was a mix of country people, high class and middle class. They all said the food was absolutely terrible. We spent $800 expecting a treat for these people that came from far away to celebrate my daughters graduation. Most of our food was left uneaten. In addition the down stairs was a great place for my party and it was “ unavailable “ though not used whilst we were there. The way the seats were situated most of our party could not see each other, next time I will search for a place where we can sit to accommodate everyone to visit joke etc.. I did visit the “Affair” a German restaurant.... best food I have ever had! Thats where we should’ve went. And to think they forced 35% gratuity on us..... sickening. Oh and we have several pianist in our group and their piano bar player was not even playing music.... He was just banging away like a 5 yr old. Lol. Comical. I’m sorry Majestic : it’s 1 star for me."
