"The chicken is dry, sauces flavorful. However, the last time I went there, the waiter disappeared. (I was now the ONLY person in the restaurant. . I waited for 20 minutes after finishing my meal, then slowly and quietly asked for my check. I progressively got louder until I was screaming; I asked for the check, pleaded, threatened to walk out.... After screaming at the top of my lungs, now, he finally came upstairs, saying 'they ' were busy with deliveries downstairs and he thought I was enjoying my book...BTW, NO deliveries went out during this period. No apologies, no discount for having to scream for 20 minutes. I will never be back..."

Greasy, tired, reheated food. Not fresh. We couldn’t eat it. Had to throw it away to avoid serious indigestion.

Delicious and reasonably priced! Highly recommend if you are on the Upper East side and/or looking for takeout.

I ordered chicken masala but was unfortunately given tandoori chicken instead. I was okay with it, but the flavor wasn't fresh. The soup was great, and the naan bread was delicious. Overall, I would rate the food a 4 out of 5.

I often order from this restaurant and always appreciate the quality of the food and the service. The staff are consistently friendly. I particularly enjoy their samosas, Rogan Josh, and Goan dishes. It's a great spot for a cozy meal or a casual dining experience. Food: 5/5 View menu

As a native Queens boy I'm sad to say that this was probably the worst Indian food I've ever had, and that includes the terrible Indian food I've had in VirginiaThe chicken makhani and lamb Rogan had overcooked, chewy meat, and the sauces were runny and were lacking the robust flavor we were looking for. Naan was underwhelming, and the rice not fluffy and fresh. Sadly, it was also quite expensive.

Additionally, the Paneer Tikka Masala arrived in a container with a broken lid, which caused the curry to spill onto the other items during delivery. The garlic naan was decent, and the Paneer Tikka was acceptable. However, the paneer was a bit hard and bland, drowning in a very thin gravy, though it was still edible. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this restaurant for vegetarian food; I'm sure you can find much better options elsewhere.

"We went to Bread N Wine on a early Saturday afternoon for brunch. We were greeted and seated by the servers who were attentive. The food was okay the bread was really soft and fresh. My partner got the French Lentil Soup, Spinach and Tomato Egg Bake andI got the French onion soup, egg omelette with spicy tomato avocado and onions. I wasn 't happy with my omelette because thespicy just meant it was covered in hot sauce within. For beverages, we got chai lattes (we later found out it wasn 't tea basedbut rather coffee) and we had the option of oat milk, almond milk or regular milk. In terms of our overall experience we feltby the end too many things were steering the experience south; the worst was when we were accused of using counterfeit money topay for the tip. There was no special marker used to prove that the money was counterfeit or technology to back up this claim. That experience alone left a bad taste in our mouth as we left embarrassed by that claim, kind of shook from that, we stilladded the tip to our credit card 18%. As we walked out and talked about how weird that was, the owner of the business nextdoor overheard us and asked to see the $20 bill he showed us that our money was real and validated what we knew, that themoney wasn 't counterfeit. When we went back into Bread N Wine to discuss this there was no apology, just well, it felt thatway , shrug. It left a terrible feeling. We would not go back after that, this is not how you treat customers from start tofinish, hence the 2 star review."
