This place is a legit great date spot. Good ambience, food (including Balkan food),and drink selection. Also bonus of good live music when they have it. Def recommend.

Checked out this place last night- was awesome! A little confusing to get to, to be honest. However, the vibes inside are super chill and laid back. But most importantly, the drink menu is off the charts. Really eclectic varieties of drinks for any type of preference. Highly recommend

Came in on a Friday night after dinner. Place was popp'n and very crowded. The host was really nice and was able to accommodate my group of 7 with a table. We ordered some drinks and they were made very well. They also kept bringing us water to make sure we were well hydrated. The music selection was also really good. View menu

I enjoy going to BABA because it gives me a 1920s speakeasy vibe with a fantastic Tapis Style menu. My favorite dishes are the salmon tartare, prosciutto croquette balls, and filet mignon. As for cocktails, I have only tried the Raspberry Fizz and I highly recommend it. I am not a big drinker, but I love the Raspberry Fizz.

I have to confess, my go-to spot for all of my online dates is kind of funny. It's a trendy and cozy restaurant with great drinks, making it the perfect spot for a first date. I've even stayed until closing time on several occasions. My favorite drink is the Brazilian smash, but the raspberry fizz is also delicious. I appreciate that they allow you to make reservations online, it's so convenient!

I went there for drinks and some appetizer dishes on sat night.. we ordered mainly cooked dishes except the steak tartare and i kept vomitting on the next day.. i went to dr then they said based on my symptoms i got food poison. The only restaurant and raw dish i ordeded that night was from Baba. Therefore i would not want to come back or rec anyone to try their raw dishes. I never got food poisoning before. We decided to try Sunday Brunch.. we did AYCE w/ cocktails only being $0.25 each. Food was deeeeelicious!! I had their **** Mary and it had the perfect amount of kick to it. My Hubby and friends tried a few of their other cocktails/mimosa loved it as well. We decided on this brunch location due to a recommendation. Only wish we had a heads up of how small the tables were since we had 4 adults and 4 kids (5 under). It was a bit of a mess with the kids but other than that, it was great!! Hoping we can get a babysitter next time so we can really enjoy this spot!!

For food, I started with the Cauliflower appetizer, which was delicious. I then ordered the 5 Hour Lamb, which was incredibly tender and juicy, served with creamy mashed potatoes. The only downside was that the portion was quite small, only about 3 to 4 bites. Still feeling a bit hungry, the bartender recommended trying a dessert on the house. I'm glad I took his suggestion because the Reforma Cake was heavenly and I managed to finish the whole portion despite it being meant for two people. I absolutely love this place. BABA is a hidden gem located in the heart of Clarendon, Arlington. This cozy speakeasy is perfect for brunch or a date night. Their brunch buffet, priced at $29.99 with unlimited drinks for $0.25 each, is a steal and my go-to spot in the area. The ambiance is intimate and quirky, making it ideal for a more mature vibe. The staff is consistently friendly, and the food is top-notch, with everything made in the same kitchen as its sister restaurant, Ambar.
