"Stopped in early before heading out of town. This was basically the only place open in the area at that time of day, which was a plus. I'm sure we could have found a bakery open somewhere nearby, but this was right at the Arc de Triomphe where we needed to be.The bagels were great, and the muffin as well. They were a little confused by my request for iced coffee but they made it without complaint and it was fine. I would suggest they consider deliberately making iced coffee, and also perhaps stocking smoked salmon."

Definitely skip hotel breakfast if you are staying anywhere near a Bagelstein. This one was right next to our hotel and about a block from the Arc de Triomphe. We had walked past a few times given how close it was to our hotel so finally decided to stop for a late lunch on our final day in Paris. There were so many choices on offer - a little similar in style to the way you buy sandwiches at another famous lunch place... choose your bread, choose your filling...!We would definitely recommend a bagel to anyone at any time of the day!
