"I absolutely love Baker Hill! We accidentally discovered this breakfast and lunch spot one day, and now we frequently return on our days off to enjoy their delicious breakfast. The staff is always friendly and accommodating, and we've never had to wait long for a table, our food, or the bill. Prices are comparable to other breakfast places, but the food is outstanding! The skillets are generous in size, and I usually have leftovers to take home. While I've only tried their breakfast items, their extensive lunch menu looks really appealing, too. I wholeheartedly recommend it! Definitely try the chorizo skillet—it's my favorite! 10/10!"

We met our kids and grandkids for breakfast on Labor Day. There were nine of us in total, and we were seated immediately. The waitress was very friendly, the food was fantastic, and the entire staff was amazing!

Enjoyed another great meal here today! Extra kudos to our waitress (ticket said Judy) who took extra care to keep my water glass filled when I selected 'just water, please ' as my beverage of choice! A good waitrsss does that for sodas, a great waitress remembers the water drinkers, too!

My honey and I went for breakfast today and the place was crazy busy but we were seated promptly. Our waitress was a 'Rock Star! ' She was an older lady. I didn 't get her name. She has awesome customer service skills. Food came out fast. Our food was cooked to perfection! I will definitely come back when I 'm back in Elgin. I will also recommend your restaurant to my friends and family!

Overall, the food was decent. They provided extra eggs, which were of excellent quality. However, the toast was not buttered and wasn't hot enough to melt butter, plus it wasn't the variety I had ordered. The service was inconsistent; some servers were friendly, while others were less accommodating. It was also difficult to get a server's attention when we needed assistance. I didn't feel very welcomed during my visit. As for the coffee, I found it to be mediocre, although I understand that tastes can vary.
