"I've been dining at this restaurant for many years, but the quality of the food has unfortunately been declining. We spent $104 on what can only be described as tired, stale, overcooked, limp, and overly buttered dishes that were of poor quality. Nothing we ordered was enjoyable. The catfish bites tasted spoiled, the half-and-half fried seafood was unremarkable, and the broiled, stuffed flounder was drenched in cheap butter, making it simply disgusting. The crab meat au gratin was thick, tasteless, and reminiscent of Velveeta cheese. Even the broiled chicken was a letdown—dry and tough. I strongly advise against wasting your money here!"

I always visit this restaurant on Mondays or Fridays for the buffet, and I never leave disappointed. The food is consistently excellent, and the staff is very polite. It’s located on the property, which is great because they support local businesses from the bayou.

The food is over priced and never even cooked right. It's either burned or still raw. The service is terrible; that's the worst part. The waitresses have horrible attitudes and are obnoxious. The new owners aren't nice either. Or remotely intelligent. It is an eyesore on the side of the highway, and the inside is equally as unimpressive. Avoid this restaurant at all costs. Only a child's imagination could come up with these dishes and interpret their value the way they do. The stuffed potato costs $4.50 and is basically a baked potato topped with a slice of melted cheese. The shrimp dish resembles Kraft mac and cheese and comes with a sprinkle of grassy shrimp for an added twist, priced at $10.50. People seem to eat here as if it’s a gourmet experience, which is quite disheartening if our standards have sunk so low. However, if you’re in the mood for a good laugh, feel free to stop by and order a dish. Otherwise, you might want to head over to Cheramie's instead.
