"I had a disappointing experience today, which is especially upsetting because it's my husband and my 5th anniversary. We felt treated like we were less important. I recall when my husband didn't feel satisfied after the omakase, so we asked for the menu to order more food and requested additional wasabi and ginger. A bartender, who was Mexican, gave us a disdainful look and walked away. I could also hear the waitstaff whispering about how much food we had ordered. I couldn't believe it! Is this really how a three Michelin star restaurant operates? Are there restrictions on how much food we can request after an omakase? We were more than willing to pay for our meal, but with service like this, we won’t be returning."

This has become our preferred restaurant for a midweek date. The food is outstanding, and there are many more vegetarian options than you would typically expect at a sushi restaurant.

the Beef Udon and the sushis rolls are amazing. The avocado/cucumber salad was not very interesting. The Service was good but it's too bad that the table are so closed from one another.

I visited this restaurant with my girlfriend for a quick bite on a Tuesday night around 7 PM. We were told there would be about an hour wait for a table at the bar, but we ended up getting seated in just 30 minutes. View menu

I had a fantastic experience with an incredible variety of sushi. The number of portions served was greater than at other omakase restaurants. We enjoyed the intimate atmosphere while sitting at the counter, and our chef, Gino, was exceptional. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 was due to the crowd of chefs behind the counter and the noise level.

We were asked to leave just an hour and a half after our 5:45 reservation, which felt rushed. I was ordering expensive items throughout our visit, but the waitstaff kept disappearing, making it necessary for us to continually flag them down to place our orders. There were also two empty tables next to us, which added to the frustration. We ended up paying $550 and even left a $100 tip because I believe waitstaff deserve to be compensated fairly. For just three of us, the total was $650. While money wasn't an issue, I was really disappointed by how we were treated and would not return. Typically, you would expect at least two hours to enjoy your meal.

"We went to Bread N Wine on a early Saturday afternoon for brunch. We were greeted and seated by the servers who were attentive. The food was okay the bread was really soft and fresh. My partner got the French Lentil Soup, Spinach and Tomato Egg Bake andI got the French onion soup, egg omelette with spicy tomato avocado and onions. I wasn 't happy with my omelette because thespicy just meant it was covered in hot sauce within. For beverages, we got chai lattes (we later found out it wasn 't tea basedbut rather coffee) and we had the option of oat milk, almond milk or regular milk. In terms of our overall experience we feltby the end too many things were steering the experience south; the worst was when we were accused of using counterfeit money topay for the tip. There was no special marker used to prove that the money was counterfeit or technology to back up this claim. That experience alone left a bad taste in our mouth as we left embarrassed by that claim, kind of shook from that, we stilladded the tip to our credit card 18%. As we walked out and talked about how weird that was, the owner of the business nextdoor overheard us and asked to see the $20 bill he showed us that our money was real and validated what we knew, that themoney wasn 't counterfeit. When we went back into Bread N Wine to discuss this there was no apology, just well, it felt thatway , shrug. It left a terrible feeling. We would not go back after that, this is not how you treat customers from start tofinish, hence the 2 star review."
