"Went there two years ago to have some nice cold sangrias. We also ordered a seafood ceviche which was very fresh and quite tasty. My last visit to this restaurant two weeks ago was DISASTROUS. We wanted outdoor seating and I had to go inside to find 4 waiters/staff watching TV. One waiter came over and I asked him if we could order some sangrias and ceviche. He said Yes yes yes. The seafood salad takes the place of the ceviche . Out comes the seafood cold shrimp, mussels, scallops, calamari piled high on iceberg lettuce. One bite of calamari had the taste of bad fishy seafood. Another bite of scallop had the same old fishy taste. The waiter comes over and I tell him I am not happy. I cannot eat this seafood....plus I wanted ceviche. He says, We cannot waste food. We will make you a ceviche . I say, You cannot use this seafood to make a ceviche . (Plus ceviche is supposed to be marinated, not made to order). He takes the dish away and says he will be right back. He comes back with over salted chopped bits of the previous seafood with red onion and lemon juice on top. I take one bite. NO way are we eating this. Then the manager comes out and insists that we ate 1/2 of the original salad and says we have to pay for the ceviche. The audacity of this guy. The furthest cry of even an ounce of restaurant sophistication. I dropped the cash on the table and left. I hope the $30 I paid outweighs this review. Stay away from not so Bella Maria 's!"

Great diner specials with two dinners and a bottle of wine! The outdoor seating is nice, and the service was prompt with minimal wait time. Just a heads up: parking in downtown Naples can be a bit challenging.

On a side trip from a weekend at Marco Island, we stopped off at Bella Maria Cafe for a light lunch and found this new little restaurant to be an absolute gem. The staff is friendly and all go out of their way to be helpful. The dishes we tried were excellent.
