"The grinder is incredible! The sauce is spot on, and it’s always toasted to perfection. I live in Canterbury, so I visit frequently when the weather is nice enough to eat outside, and I’ve never had a grinder that didn’t make me happy. Wait, if too many people start going there, I might lose my favorite spot to sit! Actually, I take that back—don’t go there, it’s awful, and you definitely won’t enjoy it. Just kidding!"

Birdies is my go to. Drinks aren't expensive, and still,there is a sense of community. Love the people, but love the bar tenders more. Jason, the manager, knows what he's doing here to build, not only Canterbury, but Fort Wayne as a whole.

Birdies is a nice ,comfortable bar ,easy going clientele. Great food specials, from taco Tuesdays ,to coney dog Thursdays and half price pizzas on Sunday. A good place to watch a game, catch up with old friends, maybe make some new ones ,and they have a great juke box !...what more could you ask for ? ......
