"Eastern/Asian inspired menu in dimly lit, earthy colored digs. Dishes are broken into apps/small plates and medium plates, so it's nice to mix and match dishes. There are no large entrees.I had the short rib fried wontons, which were crispy on the outside and full of juicy meat on the inside. I also had the roast duck spring rolls, which weren't bad, but didn't live up to the flavors on the menu (carrot, ginger, scallion, bok choy, sweet chili aioli). For my medium dish I had the udon noodles with chicken. The chicken was forgettable, but the noodles and vegetables were pleasantly spicy.I didn't have dessert, but their pineapple upside down cake, vanilla cheesecake, and gelato all looked delicious. This spot also has bao buns, fried rice, chicken and shrimp based dishes, and a few other basics. The cocktails are inventive and refreshing. I had a couple that were fruity, but not too sweet. They also have some cocktails with a hint of spice.Service was excellent. My server's name was Alex. He was attentive, sociable, made knowledgeable recommendations.Would definitely come again for these small plates and cocktails."

My server was fantastic, and BIXI made my friend's birthday celebration incredibly special. Carla G/B is truly a gem; her wonderful voice and vibrant energy made all the difference! Be sure to spread the word!

Cool spot but the bartender took long and overcharged me for my drink. It says $8 for wine on the menu but I paid $14 plus tip. Also, my legs were super cramped at the bar, not a lot of room for more then 2 people.

They're pretty solid. I've only tried the tacos but it's good enough that it's worth the trip. The happy hour makes all the prices reasonable so keep that in mind when you will in. cheaper price quality food... 4 ? every time. View menu

BIXI is charming, lovely, and budget-friendly, making it one of the best spots to take someone special. They offer excellent drinks and delicious food, and the volume of the music allows for easy conversation. I really enjoy it!

6/22/23: Nice little spot for a quick bite, good drink and idle chatter. The fried chicken was surprisingly good 8/10, yam fried w/ ginger sauce 5/10, and roast duck spring rolls 6.5/10. Drinks solid 7/10. Recommend for a quick spot with friends or first date casual meet up.

I loved the vibe in this place and the music selection was a huge part of it. Super chill and great service. I had the garlic chicken tacos but they were under cooked which is why they lost a star on this review. The Pale Rider cocktail was delicious so I had two of those while spending some quality time with good friends. Tacos aside, the overall vibe and location was great and enough for me to come back and try something different on the menu next time. View menu

The ambiance really makes this place special. It’s incredibly relaxed, with great music, cozy lighting, comfortable furniture, and friendly staff. I can definitely see myself becoming a regular here. I have to highlight the music, as it's fantastic to enjoy 70's and 00's R&B the whole time—perfectly at a volume that allows for a little sway while still being able to chat with friends. Harlem truly needs this kind of vibe to keep things lively. I'm looking forward to returning soon!

I really enjoy Bixi. It's a great spot for Happy hour drinks and bites. It also has a really chill vibe that's great for a night time hang out but can also be romantic. I had several dishes that I enjoyed but i thought that everything was just ok. The rice that came with the salmon was delicious, but the salmon itself lacked flavor. The duck roll egg rolls were good but the sauce they came with didn't seem like the right one. I was expecting a sweet sauce and I got something different. I also was looking forward to taking advantage of the restaurant week deal. However, I decided against it because it actually wasnt that much of a deal at all. I will definitely revisit Bixi, for the vibes and...

"We went to Bread N Wine on a early Saturday afternoon for brunch. We were greeted and seated by the servers who were attentive. The food was okay the bread was really soft and fresh. My partner got the French Lentil Soup, Spinach and Tomato Egg Bake andI got the French onion soup, egg omelette with spicy tomato avocado and onions. I wasn 't happy with my omelette because thespicy just meant it was covered in hot sauce within. For beverages, we got chai lattes (we later found out it wasn 't tea basedbut rather coffee) and we had the option of oat milk, almond milk or regular milk. In terms of our overall experience we feltby the end too many things were steering the experience south; the worst was when we were accused of using counterfeit money topay for the tip. There was no special marker used to prove that the money was counterfeit or technology to back up this claim. That experience alone left a bad taste in our mouth as we left embarrassed by that claim, kind of shook from that, we stilladded the tip to our credit card 18%. As we walked out and talked about how weird that was, the owner of the business nextdoor overheard us and asked to see the $20 bill he showed us that our money was real and validated what we knew, that themoney wasn 't counterfeit. When we went back into Bread N Wine to discuss this there was no apology, just well, it felt thatway , shrug. It left a terrible feeling. We would not go back after that, this is not how you treat customers from start tofinish, hence the 2 star review."
