"Lavender fry bread was a unique starter but was in need of some salt. It was presented beautifully with the lavender buds on top! The chimirelleno was tasty but could have used extra chile — it seemed like only half of the filling had chile around it. The beans and salsa served with it were particularly good. The best thing I tried was the pork jowl meat off of my partners plate. If I return I’ll definitely order a meal that has it as a component!"

We met my sister and her husband for lunch and the menu choices were delightful as well as the beverage options. A fun meal.

Enjoyed a Navajo taco. Could've been bigger. The pastry could've been fluffier. Ordered the green Chile pork. Very good. Nice place. Outside seating.

I can’t say enough good things about this restaurant. The prices are great and the quality is some of the best I’ve ever had. Kindest workers, and I left very full and ready to go back ASAP. Highly would recommend. View menu

This place is AMAZING! We discovered this gem during a visit to Provo, and since then, we've purposefully planned trips to Utah just to return to Black Sheep! The food portions are fantastic, and the service is quick and friendly. I highly recommend it!

Great food and awesome service. It isn’t cheap but it is delicious. Our server was fast and friendly. Portion sizes were generous and the drinks were great. We will be back again to try out the rest of the menu that we couldn’t have because it all looked and sounded so good.

"I feel torn on what to review Spicy Thai.. I had been years ago and remembered it being good. I came with some friends on a Friday evening. The restaurant was packed! We waited about 10 minutes before a table was ready no big deal. Our waiter took awhile to come and ask us what we wanted to drink. We browsed the menu and knew quickly what we all wanted to order. It took around 15 minutes for our waiter to come back after giving us our drinks and order our food. My husband and I ordered the egg rolls, pad Thai, and massman curry. The appetizer took around 20 minutes to come out, followed by the food about 20 more minutes. I know that it was a Friday night but the restaurant isn't that big. I don't know why it took so long to get our drinks and food. Our waiter brought the food and brought us the wrong curry. We had to ask for our massman curry. It was shortly brought out with no apology. The eggs rolls were tasty. They were very hot and full of filling. The chili sauce was the perfect amount of sweet and heat. The pad Thai was very good. It was a very generous portion and full of chicken which was a great surprise. The peanuts added a good texture. I was very impressed with this. The massman curry was only okay. It wasn't that flavorful and tasted like it was lacking or missing something. I did appreciate how much chicken was in it but would've liked to see more carrots and potatoes. The rice was cooked well. The food was nice and hot when it came out. It was very fresh. The reason for the three stars in the service. As mentioned above, it took awhile for all the food to come out. Our drinks were never refilled. After we got our food, our waiter never checked on us. We finished eating and had to ask a different waiter for boxes and our checks. The service needs to improve. I will be back for the food though."
