"The manager at this establishment was incredibly rude. She took offense and made unkind remarks when someone mistakenly referred to her as our waitress. We had no idea she was the manager, especially since she was serving drinks to our table at that moment. Additionally, my daughter's food order was never entered. When I inquired about it, they said they could put it in, but by then, everyone else was nearly finished with their meals. They made no effort to make things right or to prepare her food to go. We ended up leaving and getting her something to eat elsewhere. Furthermore, the brisket was disappointing; I would be embarrassed to serve such poor-quality BBQ. The manager definitely needs retraining."

Delicious food, friendly staff, and above average brewery, we brought our two year old and three month old and had a late breakfast of pulled pork and block burger (massive! and everything was fantastic. View menu

Great BBQ food, huge beer list. Picked the pick 3 meat, would’ve liked a little bigger portion of meats. Maybe offer a sampler of all smoked meats. The lobster pepper jack soup was very good. I got the Black IPA.

Slow service. Mediocre food at exorbitant prices (15 dollar 1/4lb burger with dry old fries). Live within a mile and hadn't been there before, and probably won't be going back. Staff was nice but that was the best part of service.

Seems like a nice place with lots of parking, friendly staff and lots of seating. We sat in the main bar seating area and it just was really loud in that area. It was hard to carry on a conversation. Would recommend the onion rings and the Blockbuster Stout! View menu

I ordered food for my office summer lunch party and everyone Loved It. The Baby Back Ribs were Fantastic and the Brisket was delicious. The corn muffins were a hit. This is the third time that I have used Block Brewing for a large event and I have never been disappointed.

Tonight is our second night eating here and I cannot even say how impressed I am. I’ve had the brisket twice which has been amazing. The Mac and cheese is phenomenal. The beans are to die for. The crab soup was a little too spicy for me but I powered through because it was so good. We love the ambiance. No loud music, just the noise of people talking which is very refreshing. Both times Nora has waited on us and she is so sweet and takes very good care of her tables. I have had 2 flights of all different beers and there wasn’t one that I truly didn’t like. The cross eyed moose is one of my favorite brown ales. We will for sure continue coming back!

"I haven't been to a Heidi's in years and I was so excited when I found out there was still a location in Brighton. The food is just as good as I remembered. I got the Country Egg Salad on Sourdough and added Cheddar cheese. It's a good size sandwich and it was very filling. The egg salad was plentiful and well seasoned. The side of coleslaw was fresh and had just the right amount of dressing and the pickle was cold and garlicky which is my favorite way to have pickles. I also got a Blueberry Hand Pie which I've never had from Heidi's before and it was absolutely delicious. The crust on the hand pie was flaky and buttery and the blueberry filling was not too sweet and appeared to be homemade with fresh blueberries which was a nice touch. I'm a big fan of their fresh ingredients and large portions. The service was alright and although it took a few minutes for the staff to realize I was there (it wasn't very busy when I stopped by around 2pm on a Sunday), the two women working behind the counter were very friendly and I got my food very quickly. The ambiance was alright but most of the tables were dirty with crumbs and other spilled food so I had to wipe down my table and chair before sitting down. Also the prices were a bit high and I paid almost $19 for one sandwich and the hand pie no drink or chips. I really hope to be back to this location sometime soon and I hope they don't close this location like they did to the one in Parker."
