"I have so much to say I don't even know where to begin. I have a friend visiting me from the UK, and the Euro2024 was on today. I thought what a fun event to go to an English pub and watch her football. I had called and asked if they were showing the game, and they told us it was first come first serve and was promptly hung up on. I didn't take that to heart but I thought it was odd. We got here about 2:00 and the place was already packed. Thankfully we got chairs. My friend and I don't drink alcohol, but we were planning on ordering lots of food. Immediately we were singled out by the owners Mark and Peggy. Never have I met more nasty, miserable people than I have at this pub. Before we even sat down they were threatening to throw us out. However, we weren't special they literally were attacking every single guest in here! Like why own a pub if you don't want people to come? Apparently Peggy, was annoyed that we weren't drinking alcohol. I said we're going to order food and we're going to take care of the server. She said there's no soliciting. I'm pretty sure she meant loitering, but we weren't doing that either as we were purchasing food and beverages. The day was saved by a few really sweet servers (especially Meghan! that really tried to bend over backwards to help people. But honest to God I lost count on how many times people were being threatened to be thrown out. Mark was calling people names, sexual slurs, and saying other derogatory remarks. He even squared off to a few people! I'm 100% sure this bar is well over capacity and is in a fire code at the moment but he's so greedy he's letting more and more people in the door. I honestly have never seen anything like this, I will NEVER come back to this place. And it's not a good to look for my UK friend to see."

I have visited The Anchor on several Friday nights and each time has been enjoyable. The bartenders, Rob and Lainey, are incredibly attentive. This place is...

I highly recommend this place if you are in search of a low-key spot to enjoy a few drinks. The bartenders were fantastic and it's safe to say they are very skilled.

I had a delightful experience at this restaurant located in the heart of Delray Beach! It is a charming English pub that offers delicious dishes and a variety of well-crafted beers. The Färger and Maische were particularly impressive. View menu

Great place. Being half Irish, the food is excellent English/Irish fare. The servers are wonderful and it's seems that only the local know about this pub so you don't have to deal with the demanding tourists. The appetizers are to die for .

Popped in to watch italy vs albania the other day. The staff are so friendly and the vibes are great. Ordered the fish and chips the fish was super moist and tasted very fresh. The fries are (no exaggeration) the best potatoes I have ever had. Perfectly fried and perfectly seasoned.

My boyfriend and I have gone to this establishment many times in the past and have never had any problems. Unfortunately, today during the England soccer game it was not a positive experience. The bar was very packed with standing room only due to the game popularity. While trying to order a drink at the bar we overheard a manager (later identified as Mark) cursing at another customer. He dropped an F Bomb and told the customer that if he didn’t like it here he could leave. During our short stay we met four other groups of strangers there who all had bad experiences with Mark. Multiple customers gave us their accounts that he was very rude and condescending without any disrespect from the cu... View menu

I hate leaving reviews, but after our last experience I feel I should. We have gone to this place for years after hours with Tom and Anthony, amazing bartenders. We’ve always had a great time with them. We brought our own pizza because the last time we were here we saw rats in their kitchen when someone came from the back. As we were waiting for the rest of our party to show up we sat outside and hadn’t even opened our pizza box yet. Fred, the “owner” I guess. Came outside with immediate hostile energy, we explained we were waiting to see if his parents were there yet and were going to order their drinks. Fred proceeded to get in my boyfriend’s face and threaten to fight him, very obviously...

I’ve come here several times previously and have had a good time and pleasant interaction with the staff. Then came today for the euro cup final. Place was packed which was to be expected. However it appeared understaffed with 3 bartenders and 1-2 food runners for probably 300 guests. They could have hung an “at capacity “ sign or hired a bouncer to maintain a count or even had Mark the owner post near the door and turn folks away due to overcrowding. Instead, Mark, for some reason wearing a fishing shirt while his employees wore appropriate service clothing, meandered through the bar yelling at customers, cursing at them, and squaring off with a few. He was easily the most disruptive singul...
