"OH MY GOD. I cannot tell you how much I love this place. I have been wanting to visit for over a year when I was researching fun restaurants to take a friend visiting from California. Finally got around to visiting this past weekend and was so utterly happy with my stay. The food was delicious. Our server was a rockstar that awesome mix of helpful, fun, sassy. The food portions are sizeable, definitely left feeling full but not sick to my stomach because I could not stop eating. We ordered the TwoSome Crab special and added a pound of shrimp to the mix. Definitely enough for people. We also ordered the Root Beer Float for dessert and it was SO GOOD. Who doesn't love cane sugar root beer? We have told ALL of our friends to go visit and we will definitely be back in the near future"

It was ok. Don't think I'll go back for brunch. Might try dinner

Much different than anything else Boston has to offer. Got a boil and a few small plates to share for and it was the perfect amount of food

Great environment and great menu. The space is much larger than it appears from the outside and while it became busier during our dinner I didn't feel cramped in anyway. Can't wait to go back and try one of the larger boils View menu

I found this hidden gem by browsing thru Google. I picked this place to celebrate my birthday with my friends. I love that it had a little something for everyone. Our waitress was amazing, I loved the food and the overall ambiance of this restuarant

We got a great boil and drink bowl to share! The bootleg special is an ambitious dinner for two, but well worth it with the extra kick. I'm a fan of southern specialties, and the cocktail list was reminiscent of favorites I've found off bourbon street

We were really curious about this place. The space is beautiful, the cocktails delicious, but the food... not so much. While appetizers were tasty, the main course we chose one of the boils was expensive and poorly executed. We got home with a stomach ache which persisted until the day after. It is a pity, because the space is incredible, and with great potential. Just not very good View menu

Bootleg Special was recommended by a trusted acquaintance. The owners made a valiant attempt to transport the guest to the French Quarter in New Orleans via regional decor. The service was friendly and responsive considering it was a relatively busy Saturday night. The seafood boil was a hit. The poboys were too heavily seasoned. If you enjoy a cocktail before your meal, I strongly recommend the Sazerac, it was chilled to perfection and very authentic

wow. I still dreamed about this place. the seafood is so fresh and tasty. I love the concept of cooking it was my first. they simply choose all the seafood they want, and it comes all in the sauce of their choice. the lobster mac n cheese is heavenly. everything comes out very quickly. the service was also excellent and the decor is unique. it really makes you like you're in new orleans for the night. I would return to boston, only for this restaurant.

"No soup/sandwich shop compares in terms of price per quality, portion size, and different options in the area. I only started ordering from here about 2 weeks ago and I’ve now had 7 different kinds of soups and 4 different kinds of sandwiches after the first order I started ordering two soups and a sandwich aka a soup to save for later because they’re just that good, every one of them. Price is so very reasonable and depending on which combo you get you can make out with a full sized sandwich and large sized homemade soup for $14.While it’s hard to recommend one thing over another in this circumstance since it’s all been great in their own ways, the Chicken Chowder is something I plan on getting a quart of next time it’s available. The Chicken Barley and Chicken Lemon Rice are ones I plan on getting quarts of in the future as well, and that’s not to discount the Chicken Noodle, Beef and Veg Noodle Stew, French Onion, and the current seasonal Chilled Gazpacha (which I probably wouldn’t have even tried it wasn’t from these guys . It’s all top quality. The Chicken Tarragon sandwich is my favorite in terms of sandwiches although it can’t combo with a soup as of now (please let us! . The best cheap soup combo sandwich is a tossup between the Cilantro Tuna and Ciabatta Sandwich, which are both incredible in their own ways. The only few drawbacks to this place are they don’t have every soup they make every day, are only open until 4PM, and aren’t open on the weekends. That said it’s worth it to plan accordingly for this. I never review anything but this place is worth it it’s the best if you’re a soup and sandwich person like I am."
